El Misti Botafogo Hostel e Pousada

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Convenient location. The breakfast was great; fruit, cake, cereal, toastie making items, and plenty of this all. The WiFi was a bit slow and sketchy during busy periods. The staff were quite friendly, although I think the hostel would feel a lot more welcoming/homely to travellers who speak Portuguese/Spanish.

A nice hostel. Very friendly staff and good location. Caipi time is a good idea to get guests to mingle, although some seem to not take advantage of this... Stiffs. The motion sensors in the bathrooms could probably do with a tweak as I found myself showering in the dark a couple of times.

A cool hostel in a good area, easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and clubs of Miraflores, even if they are all very overpriced for Peru. The bar is good place to meet people, with locals even coming in to take advantage of the cheap drinks.

A very cool hostel. The breakfast and dinners were pretty basic, but all you need really, and a great way to meet other guests. The staff were all cool and very friendly. The place had a nice vibe and is definitely one of the best value-for-money hostels in Bogota.

Cool chilled out place. Good location between main surf beach and swimming beaches. Although a 10min walk to either. Friendly staff. Nice pool. The two mango trees are just now dropping fruit (mid august) definitely stay if you like mangoes!

Nice place. Good location. Good atmosphere. Easy. The hot water system could do with an upgrade, as could the decor, but that's pretty standard for most hostels...

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thanks for the ratings and taking time to comment. We do try to keep up with decor, etc but we know we are overdue. We try to keep what we have clean and comfortable and are planning on a complete repaint and new furniture in March when we quiet down some. Sorry that we are probably a season overdue. We are glad you enjoyed your time here and in Tassie, and hope that we helped.

Vintage Boutique Hostel

Pretty average hostel, as most in Paris are. Not much going on in common room, and it costs to use computers (wifi is free, but very slow) Rooms were decent, and pretty clean. Breakfast was pretty good too (croissants, cereal and drinks)

A really good Hostel, one of the best I've stayed at. The location is great, right next to the Acropolis with good metro connections. The staff were really friendly, the place was clean and the roof top bar was a great place to meet people, and had an awesome view. My only complaint is that everything was too early for my liking. Breakfast finishes at 9:30 sharp, check out is 10:30 and the cleaners come into the rooms at about 10:00.

Very small hostel, but big enough. Kitchen facilities were good and quite clean. Located in the middle of town with bars right outside, which was fun to come home to each night.
