Pink Panther's Hostel

Krakow, Poland

We really enjoyed the 1st night of our 2 night stay at the hostel. It is located perfectly and the facilities covered our needs. On the second night though there was a really rowdy group of people who stayed on late after the wine tasting. Our room opened straight into the common area, which meant we were kept awake then, and also when they returned at about 2am. Thanks for giving us a full refund for the night, but something should be done to make sure it doesn't happen to future guests.

Old Town Hostel East Wing

Kotor, Montenegro

We absolutely loved our stay of five nights. Even though our original booking changed the staff was super helpful and flexible in allowing us to stay on in the same room. We loved all of the nights with staff from the the hostel, and our room was just lovely.

Budget Mapesbury Hostel

London, England

This hostel met all of our needs in the transition from arriving in London to finding a more permanent place. It is located in Kilburn, which is not the city centre, but as we weren't there to sight see this wasn't a problem. The place was cleaned top to bottom every single day!! The internet was fast, computers available when needed, lovely large lounge area to relax. Best thing about the place was the large backyard area, well kept and really pleasant to relax in!!

Route 39

Istanbul, Turkey

Whilst this hostel had a nice rooftop bar and a good breakfast included in the very reasonabe price, it was an uncomfortable stay. When we stayed it was really hot in Istanbul and the hostel has no a/c nor any fans. In order to stay cool we opened windows, but with a shop directly across the rd open til 3, we got little sleep. This made for an unbearably hot stay with nowhere to come back to and feel ref.reshed. Location is good, close to the tram and Taksim sqr, everything else just ok.

Green Kiwi Backpacker Hostel

Singapore, Singapore

The hostel was well run and organised, although for the price we felt our room was way too small. It had only 1 bunk bed with no table/chair/any other furnishings. We felt that for the price we paid (which was average) the room could have been a bit better laid out. It was no more than 1.5-2 metres wide. The roof top area needs to be clear of dog droppings, and the lobby area should be better set up for relaxing. Good location and helpful staff. Breakfast was always fresh.

YK Home Villa

Da Lat, Vietnam

Apart from a really bad sleep because dogs were whining outside, this place was great. The dogs really put a dampener on the experience though.. Helpful and friendly staff, a good breakfast menu too. The location was a bit out of town but taxis were easy to come by. All in all an ok experience.

Sea Light Hotel

Nha Trang, Vietnam

We found this hotel was really poorly run. The check in/check out process was clunky, and the staff had really limited english. When we wanted to use the computer we had to ask the child using it to hop off- not something i felt comfortable about at all. There was no assistance at the hotel for bookings or tours or maps. Generally a nice room, it smelt a bit of old cigarette smoke though. A good location one street back from the beach!

NgocThao GuestHouse

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

This hostel was brilliant! Our favourite of all the places we stayed in Saigon. The staff were incredibly helpful, and booked all of our further travel for us. I was really impressed but how efficiently the hostel ran even thoughy it was in the middle of a bustling city. I'll definately stay here again when I come back!
