The Siem Reap Hostel

This hostel gets pretty much everything right - its large enough that you can meet any type of traveller here, the food and drinks are reasonably priced and good, and who doesn't want some movies and yoga? The level of commitment to the local community is also waaaaay above and beyond. A wonderful base to explore the temples

Hello, thank you for your comments. Our location is perfect, just 200 meters from 2 central subway lines. Easy access to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, the olympic area and more. We look forward to seeing you next time. Regards, The Drum.

good if you're an anglo undergrad that wants to party. I left after one night because it was too raucous

has almost everything you want from a hostel - amazing location in Santa Teresa, really friendly and laidback staff, and the crowd there in general was a nice mix of chill but also fun and eager to go out. the roof-top patio is hard to beat. Nick the owner was kind enough to give me a ride to the Rio harbour - he's pretty much the coolest

first hostelling experience - overall quite positive! the location is perfect, in a beautiful district in montmartre. the rooms (I was in a 6 bed mixed) were adequate, but definitely on the beds were puny. the friendliness of the staff varied.
