Amsterdam Hostel Centre

Amsterdam, Netherlands

OK so this place is a real hidden gem. It has everything you need from your hostel and is in a fantastic location. But what made our stay amazing was the staff. The night Porter (Mokmar I think his name was) was so friendly and helpful and was just amazing. The guys here would even change the channel for you on the TV so you watch whatever you wanted. They were always good for a chat! I would have liked to pay on card but that's my only gripe. This hostel and staff rock!!!

Hostel Van Gogh

Amsterdam, Netherlands

The place was very clean but we only found out on arrival that there was no smoking area. The communal area was practically non-existent, consisting of a few tables in a sort of canteen. Not a very friendly place or a place to meet people. One of the receptionists was also extremely rude, the other one was very helpful though. All in all it was an ok stay but will probably not go back again.

Hostel Mostel

Sofia, Bulgaria

Theres not much to Sofia, Hostel Mostel was probably the best. Really diverse, loads of different people from all walks of life. The staff are amazing abd really helpful. Its a real chilled out atmosphere and you get free pasta! Yum!

Orient Hostel

Istanbul, Turkey

Orient Hostel was one of our favourite hostels! The staff are hilarious and such nice guys. Seriously its worth the trip just to hang out with them. It has a really fun atmosphere and everyone gets involved, dont miss out on the pubcrawl either! We\'ll definitely be heading back in the future! So much fun

Kismet Dao Hostel

Brasov, Romania

Was a nice hostel but very boring. Not much to it but theres a nice chill out lounge. Staff seemed more concerned with hanging out with their friends than running the place. Quite boring, good for one night but thats about it. Very clean and bright though.

Downtown Backpackers was a breath of fresh air. Free laundry, free wifi with a laptop and really great food. The hostel is also a bar for the locals so it feels a bit clicky at night sometimes but the staff are amazing and really helpful. The doors to the dorms arent always locked so you have to be a bit careful
