An amazing stay with an awesome host. The accomodation is immaculate, extremely clean rooms, ample space, plenty of bathroom facilities, large kitchen and outdoor breakfast area. The hostel is ideally located in a quite area near to the bus station and just a short walk from the town centre. Milos has done an excellent job in creating a relaxing space for travellers to unwind.

Excellent location up on the hill in a safe favela. Very spacious common area and helpful Gemran owner. The atmosphere in the surrounding favela is what makes this hostel worht a stay and its only a 10min walk down the hill to the beach.

The most dirty and disgusting hostel I have had the misfortune to stay in. Toilets and showers stank of urine. Matresses were just bits of old foam which were very sweaty and uncomfortable. Too many beds crammed into the building. No common area Filthy kitchen The guy who was meant to be working there did nothing to clean the hostel. Whole building was full of mosquitoes with no nets on the windows. This was a very poorly converted appartment, the English owner clearly didn't care too much about the

Superb hostel, only fault was that the dorm room was very cramped but the common area was great and more than made up for this
