-facilities are mediocre -location in La Candelaria is great, a block or so away from a square with some fun bars and locals hanging out -decent enough breakfast is included -good value i thought, about $10 for a dorm room in a good location
One of the best hostels I've stayed at: -great communal area with hammocks and jacuzzi -Tejo Tuesdays are awesome, don't miss that -the staff is very helpful and will help you set up adventure activities, book bus tickets to your next destination and assist in just about every other conceivable way -the four bed room had plenty of storage space for everyone -super fun place to stay, highly recommend, the san gil area is awesome!!!!!
-great location in the eastern part of the old city -the rooms are very basic but are fairly large -not a place for meeting other travelers -reception was very helpful with ordering taxis and making dinner reservations -overall, a good low cost option for a private room in the walled city
-great location for getting to Minca and Parque Tayrona, it's not close to downtown Santa Marta but I'm not sure how many people are interested in that area anyways -this place is probably for a younger crowd. there is pretty loud music out in the common area till late -the pool and courtyard with hammocks is an awesome place to hang out -staff is friendly and helpful with arranging travel plans and activities in the area -food is good as well, especially the pizza/pasta dishes for dinner
-Great location a block from one of the main squares in the old city -Cool rooftop with nice views over the city -Helpful staff though you'll need to speak some Spanish -Would be nice if a real breakfast was served -Charming, rustic design and decor
Great hostel in a good location. The staff are real friendly and always eager to help you out. The night I had no reservation they set me up an extra bed and he even offered me the bed in his house if I had no where else to go. Grey guys. Also, it's one of the few hostels in Istanbul with air conditioning which is a must in summer. Highly recommend.
