New Joe Guesthouse

Pretty positive I got bed bug bites here. The room was so gross and unpleasant. The location was ok, it's down a dark alleyway so if you are a single female maybe not the best place. I really wouldn't recommend this hostel, the staff was very average and the place really was dirty.

This hostel is very nice, e rooms are tiny though. It only has a/c at night, but good fans all day. The staff is very nice and helpful. Staying in Phuket town itself isn't the best idea, but if you need to stay in town, this is the place to go!

It is super basic, not very charming or nice, but it will do. We only stayed one night because there are a lot more charming places for a similar price. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Staff was okay I guess. It is right on the beach, but not e prettiest stretch of beach or anything.

The staff here are so great! They really take care of you. The location isn't the best . The rooms were nice, clean and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was good too.we stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Long Hostel

The lady that runs it, Long, is the sweetest lady ever! So helpful and nice. The dorm was spotless clean and the beds are big. Air on worked well, there's a mini fridge and tv in the dorm. We had 2 bathrooms for 5 people, pretty good! If our taxi driver hadn't of known where it was, we definitely would have struggled in finding it. Overall, great place!

Super nice little place. Very clean, quiet, nice bathrooms, lots of movie channels. Really friendly staff, they were very helpful! Only negative would be that the location is a 10-15min walk from the main drag. Other than that, great place!

This was the best hostel in SE Asia! The guy who runs it takes such good care of you, super social hostel that you'll meet tons of people, such a good time. The place is open aired huge bamboo dorm rooms, so be ready that you are basically sleeping outside. It's surprisingly comfortable and the character of the place is so nice that you don't mind that it feels a bit like camping. Only down side, location is a ways outside of town. But it's still so worth it, stay here!

Kikies House

Chiang Mai, Thailand

This hostel is not in the best location, the dorm rooms really aren't great, the bathroom was pretty dirty, and the beds were hard as rocks. Only some dorm beds come with mosquito nets, so tough luck if ou don't get one. On the reviews it said KIkie was so great and nice, and was actually pretty rude to us when we had to cancel one night, so watch out for at. Really wouldn't reccomend this place, you can find somewhere with a more social backpacker vibe.
