In Da Lodge

Ubud, Indonesia

The location is perfect walking distance from food, shops, the monkey forest. The food at the hostel is cheap and good. They charge you 10,000 rp for a large water bottle which is kind of annoying because you can get it for as little as 4,000rp a 5 min walk away. The fans in the large dorm keep it cool enough for sleeping but the bunk beds are shaky. Outside food is only permitted in the rooms which is not ideal if you like to eat your own breakfast or bring in take out food.

Piya Hotel/Hostel

Istanbul, Turkey

The beds were very comfortable however it would have been nice to be able to use the kitchen even if it were only certain times a day.

Meramees Hostel

Cairo, Egypt

Not what I expected but pleasant none the less. As a solo travler and a female I was slightly worried however after arriving i realized I had no reason to be and the staf were very accommodating.

The hostel was in a great location. You definitely need a phone to be able to get in the first time. The hostel is perfect if you are looking for a clean, cheap, and safe place to sleep. If you are interested in meeting people and getting suggestions from the staff then this is not meant for you. However, I enjoyed my stay.
