Easy metro ride into the major sites, staff are helpful and area seems safe. One issue was with slamming doors, they need to invest in some dampeners on the auto closing doors...

Thanks very much for your comments. We take them seriously and appreciate all feedback. unfortunately we don't have space of a separate kitchen for guest. We are not allowed to use our kitchen for guest as we provide catering. We do appreciate this is not ideal but we have to work within the confines of the building. thanks again for taking the time to comment. kind regards James

Average hostel. Clean and safe but we have stayed in better. No where really to lock your bags up over night. Very central so that is an upside.

Great hostel would def go back again. Only suggestion would be some bigger shower facilities but other than that great job. Breakfast was average just a standard continental.

We also look forward to hosting you in your next visit! We would love to make our shower facilities bigger, but it would remove the existing shower-pooling option! ;)

Great hotel in a nice area. Beds are a bit average, I am a bit taller and could not fit on the bunk bed without my feet hanging off the end... Showers are also a bit cramped but overall the hostel was great.

This was a good hostel BUT there is one thing I can't stand... freezing cold showers in a cold climate. I pay money to stay in your hostel and I expect the basics. Nothing fancy just the basics... and hot water is a basic.

Thanks for the review. You're right, you should not have to deal with a cold shower and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I will pass along your complaint to our maintenance dept. Safe travels. Antonio, HI-Washington DC

WARNING the rating of this hostel is not truthful They sent me an email that asked me to rate them perfectly and if I did I would receive a half price massage... So Beware... This place is well below par for a hostel. Where to start... Stayed in a 4 bed dorm only 2 lockers for 4 people and the lockers were not bolted down. One toilet and shower for 8 people and they were in the same room... Kitchen was a microwave and a fridge only. Some shady locals were also given rooms for who knows what.

Staff are great, breakfast is simple but good. Internet was unreliable in the evenings. Beds were below average made of steel and squeaked and strained with the slightest movement.

We were not very happy with our stay at this hostel. They originally had me and my partner in separate buildings. Then after a hassle we got to be in the same room but then had to change rooms the next day. Everything very average.

The guy at the front desk was not very nice. He didn't speak english very well and was trying to make me pay in cash instead of credit card. They do accept credit card they just don't like to... Room good although not very well ventilated. Bathroom clean but shower on had a curtain not a door on it.

Nice place. Our room had a view from one of the windows to the Alps which was nice. 15 min walk from the center of Chamonix but they had free bus and train though we never used them. No kitchen facilities but they will heat up your food in the microwave for you if you ask.

Very nice accomodation clean and modern. We booked for a 6 mixed dorm but were given our own twin. Bit of a walk from the bus stop they recommend but not that bad. 2 Euro for the campsite shuttle bus worth taking into Venice but just take the public bus back to the campsite more freedom. Overall very good.

Staff did not have much respect for privacy and on a number of occasions practically barging straight into the dorms after knocking once. Hard to find, no signage on the street only a hostel world sticker on the door. Couldn't use the stove and the toaster looked like it was born in the 50's.

This place was quite good. They moved us half way through our stay to another dorm which was a pain. Showers were good, no stove in kitchen, quite clean. The second dorm had better lockers than the first but there was a generator near the room that would make a moderately loud noise every so often. Close to the metro so easy to get places.
