Mayview Glory Hotel

We stayed here for one night. The price was right (around 80 ringgits for the night), the staff were friendly and they stored our bags while we toured the city after we checked out. It was a basic room, a decent size, a little out of date, but it was clean.

Ringos Foyer Guest House

We loved Ringos! Howard, who runs Ringos, is a very friendly chap, eager to help his guests and have a laugh. We stay here over New Year's Eve and a bbq was put on for the guests on the rooftop balcony! As a traveling couple, we selected a private room and private bathroom. Oh wow! We loved our room! It was huge and we even has a little living room with a bar fridge. If you are visiting Melaka and like the atmosphere of hostels, Ringos is THE place to stay!

Malabar

We had a good stay at Malabar. Tony, the owner/operator was very friendly and helpful and made a point of showing us points of interest on the map he provided. Our private room with a bathroom was very small but we knew this upon booking. It was too small to hang out in, basically just for sleeping but considering the nature of our stay, it was all we needed. Based upon Tony's warm hospitality, I would recommend this hostel to others.

We had a great stay here! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a private double room. Hot water ran out mid way through the second shower if we both went one after the other, however we worked our way around the problem. The room was very clean. A great hostel, I'd stay here again!
