This was a cute hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. In the dorm everyone has their own bunk with a curtain and light. Sheets (but not towels) were also included. The only slight downer was that there was no common area apart from the restaurant and no kitchen or facilities for making hot drinks, heating up food etc. However, it sounds like this will be coming soon! In the meantime, the staff obligingly gave me hot water for my tea and let me put food in their fridge. So all happy!

Lisbon Lounge Hostel

Genuinely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Dormitories are spacious, clean and in great condition. Lovely kitchen for cooking your own thing or enjoying one of the chefs dinners (which most people seem to do). Very helpful staff. I guess the one drawback was that it was on a main street (perfect location otherwise) so the traffic etc was a bit noisy at night. Would definitely recommend!

An excellent hostel in an ideal location (right on the main square). Lovely kitchen with electric hobs, pans, fridge/freezer, crockery, microwave, kettle, toaster etc - all you could ask for really. Although there aren`t many supermarkets around so I struggled a little to find food to cook. Roof terrace lovely and my dorm had a balcony overlooking the main square. The staff (Nelson) was very kind and helpful too. Highly recommend this hostel, particularly for the price.

A nice hostel in a great location . Being right next to the train station makes it ideal for travelling onwards, but it is a little noisy with the trains coming and going all of the time. Fine for a short stay though. It has a small common room area with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, but only plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, which I was slightly nervey about using in the microwave etc. Easy access to local sights.
