Amazing hostel right on the beach! Staff is extremely nice and the bar is fun to to go at night. The "private" rooms are huge and the fan was enough for us instead of the AC. The staff also gets a game of either volleyball or futbol every day right before the sun sets on the water. We met great people and definitely plan on coming back!

Great location and amazing bar in the hostel! So easy to walk to all the other bars/restaurants and enjoy the night life! Tours can be booked at the hostel, but there's not much to choose from, and some don't even pick you up there. And there is NO LAUNDRY FACILITY, so don't be fooled by that. Other than that, great place to stay though- very lively!

Staff and location is great! Right around the corner from bars and restaurants and not a long walk to Plaza Bolivar and Monserrate. Facility is clean but rooms are small and construction going on, BUT BATHROOMS ARE AMAZING! *If you go to Monserrate, take the funicular or cable car- 6 people staying at our hostel that tried to walk up to the top were mugged. Don't carry a big camera with you up there- you'll be a target.

PROS: David is very attentive! He makes you breakfast in the morning which is very nice. VERY CENTRALLY LOCATED! Close to everything downtown. Place very clean and great courtyard. Very quiet place and he'll do your laundry for a small fee! CONS: Curfew. Rooms need a fan because they get very hot. Though it is centrally located, a block away in the other direction, it starts to get a bit shaddy late night. If you're looking for a party hostel, this is NOT IT! (nice and quiet!)

Hello, we don't have fan in the rooms because 99% of our customer says that San Jose is a little bit cold at night and for that reason we believe that fan are not necessary, With the curfew you accepted when you make the reservation with us, is in our policy, and about the party hostel we prefer to have a nice, clean and a quiet place for our customers. Thanks
