The hostel is very far from the old town. The 14-bed dorm room in the basement smells like sewage. There are only 2 washrooms in the whole hostel to accommodate everyone.
Lockers on the top level are near impossible to reach. Walls are extremely thin. When drunk people cause quite a ruckus at 3am in the hallways, nothing is done to ask them to leave so that people can actually get some sleep.
The water pressure for the showers were great but only having 2 showers and 2 toilets for each floor wasn´t enough. They have a policy where you leave a deposit for the key and you leave the key at the front reception whenever you head out. That was ok except they had given away my room and key when I headed out for the day. Luckily when I had returned the guy who had received my key indicated that the bed and locker were already taken. Beds were thin and soft. The staff were helpful though.
Only 2 showers and 2 toilets (where 1 of them was broken during my stay) shared between about 20 people. Rooms very clean and spacious. There is a curfew (1am) even though on the website it says there isn´t one. Bring a flashlight if you´re going back in the dark. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Definitely need to consider having more bathrooms in the hostel. With only two single bathrooms and 30 plus people, one always had to wait for an available one.
