Smart Sea View Brighton

Very average. For the price, you get what you'd expect. My main annoyance is that it is NOT in Brighton, it's in Hove (the next door town). Brighton town centre is about a 30-40 minute walk but there are buses. If you're arriving by train you are much better off getting a train to Hove, not Brighton. The staff were very polite and friendly, and breakfast was ok. However, in general the hostel cannot be described as modern and clean; it's best described as cheap. Also, none of the lockers worked.

It really was a wonderful hostel. I found the room abit warm the first night, but then the staff showed me how to put the air con on. To be fair, i like to sleep in a fairly cold room/bed. Breakfast is also a pretty good deal, and was some of the best I've had in a hostel.

A bUsy bostel with LOTS of teenagers. Very clean and pleasent atmosphere. Just a quick warning, everying (apart from breakfast) costs extra. Under bed locker, luggage storage etc. beds are abit short and at 6ft i touched it end to end. Otherwise, fine.

For the price this was an EXCELLENT hotel to stay in. Impreccably clean with helpful ad friendly staff. Breakfast was more than adequate. For the budget traveller I really don't think it can get any better.
