Very small room and ensuite bathroom, but very clean. Comfortable beds, and we were three floors up so no noise from the bar. We were in a female dorm and our roommate told us that you get free towels in that case - it's a shame none of the hostel staff told us this. Great location just off the Royal Mile though (even if you did have to go uphil) and next to the train station.

Thanks for taking the time to review our hostel. We have organised our cleaning team to leave towels on each of the beds and have put signs in the female dorms saying that if you don't have a towel to come to reception and we will supply one free of charge. We hope to see you again and safe travels. St Christopher's Staff

Location not great, but the free shuttle bus drops you off pretty much anywhere in town which was great, and a taxi is cheap to get back late at night. Small room, but clean and secure, and powerful shower. Nice big kitchen to share.

Over-priced for the quality. VERY creaky and alarmingly flimsy looking bunks but friendly staff and only a ten minute walk (ish) to town.

Very basic dorms and shower rooms. A 20 minute bus ride from the centre and the bunk bed ladders really hurt your feet! The key fob security system broke one night when we were there so that we were locked out of the room and had to get the staff to open it. Very annoying! Also quite a noisy place.
