It is a nice but be aware regardless of what is says they do not do twin beds. Also if you donàt like the very personal touch and being watched while you have breakfast then this is not the place for you, though, you could miss breakfast. The location is perfect for the tower and other attractions.

Having just arrived on the bus to then have to walk up a hill and climb quite a few steps made you very hot and not in the best mood when you did finally get there. Once you get over the initial exhaustion, however, the location is great it is quite and the bus to the Old Town is practically on your door step. The walk, which when you arrive is an annoyance, is nothing when you do not have to lug your bag. I would recommend this just be prepared for hike to get there when you arrive.
The hostess was really friendly and helpful. I had accidentally booked a day later than I wanted but she managed to squeeze us in and was really good about changing the dates of our booking. If you arrive by train or bus I would just take a taxi for the first time as that way you can get your bearings and it is not that expensive.
This is a great hostel the rooms are clean and there is air-con, which is essential in the summer. The bar connected to the hostel is great fun - I would recommend the lemon drop shots. A great time was had. There is no internet but there are plenty of internet cafe just be aware that they close around 10pm.
We were only there for one night which is all you really need in Zagreb and the hostel seemed OK. The rooms, however, were boiling at night which did not make it very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our time at Traveller's Haven and even extended our stay by a day. The staff were really helpful and were happy to answer all our questions. They also provided us with a good overview of what Bled had to offer when we arrived which helped focus what we wanted to do. It was added benefit that we could use their bikes for free.
