36 ROOMS Berlin Kreuzberg

Berlin, Germany

The hostel is generally clean and in a good location - you can reach all important places by train within roughly 20 - 30 minutes and it is only to stops from party district kreuzberg. what bothered me a bit was that the wifi was unreliable and there was no wifi in our room on the fourth floor. Also it seems like they only bothered to put room numbers on a few rooms, so you have to search your room and constantly get people attempting to open your door thinking it's their room.

PangeaPeople Hostel & Hotel

Berlin, Germany

I don't think you will be able to get this kind of value for money anywhere in the City Centre of Berlin. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, the showers were the cleanest I have seen in a hostel.Breakfast buffet is offered in the hostel bar, which is a great place to hang out and meet other travelers. Staff makes sure that you have everything you need and is quite friendly. Rooms are all named after cities and include a poster of those cities, which I thought was pretty cool.

David Hasselhostel

Budapest, Hungary

Don't even think about booking a different hostel in Budapest! This place is amazing. The rooms are spacious, there is a great common area and the staff is the best I've ever had. In the evening you can get cheap dinner and enjoy brilliant drinking games. It is not only due to the softest couch in the world that you will feel at home - it's mainly thanks to the people there. The only reason you could have not to stay here is because you are boring. ;)

Odyssee Globetrotter Hostel

Berlin, Germany

The Location is hard to beat - but still I wouldn't recommend this hostel to solo travelers looking to meet people. It seems to be mainly taken on by groups and there could be a bit more effort undertaken by staff to organize events or connect people. Clean though and big rooms. One minus: only one key per room which needs to be handed over to reception upon leaving the hostel.

Bru Bar & Hostel

Cork, Ireland

Great Hostel with a bar right below, all in all a cool place! Was there during the jazz festival which made for a great night out. In the morning we were a bit annoyed though: checkout was at 11, and between 10 and 1030 the cleaners had already come in three times without knocking, so we didn't really feel that welcome there and left the place in a hurry...

Castle Hostel

Tralee, Ireland

Nice warm and welcoming atmosphere! big kitchen, nice common area.

The Hideout Hostel

Dingle, Ireland

We had left our wallet on the bus and the owner helped us contact the bus station and even offered for us to stay for free. The double bed room was spacy and clean, the breakfast was great for hostel standards too! If I am ever i Dingel again, Id once again sleep at the Hideout, because it feels like home!

Doolin Hostel

Doolin, Ireland

In walking distance to basically everything. ROom was spacious and clean. There even is a lttle cafe inside the hostel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Only a small downside: we would have liked a bit more of a selection for breakfast (other than toast and marmelade), maybe just a bit of cheese or honey!

Celtic Tourist Hostel

Galway, Ireland

Staff friendly and welcoming, central location in Galway. Got some great tips for going for dinner and goig out here! only downside: the atmosphere! This place needs a radio and maybe some organized events. It was dead quiet and guests werent talking.

Isaacs Hostel

Dublin, Ireland

Massive hostel, central location, a bit loud though due to other guests. Personally I think due to its size the hostel is more suitable for groups - the solo traveller gets lost between school classes...Noticeable: High security standards!

David's Guest House

Prague, Czech Republic

We stayed in one of the small appartments. The appartment itself was fine. The kitchen was shared with 2 other rooms, but big enough, there was a shower and a separate toilet. The location was good - a ten minute walk from the city centre. You get the best value for your money in this place if you dont want to stay in a hostel dorm. Only problem: The matresses are awful, it's like sleeping on the floot. And take earplugs - street noise!!

Hostel ELF

Prague, Czech Republic

Some of the showers are quite dirty, but the 11bed dorm was spacious and the atmosphere welcoming. Great location if you're a solo traveller - you always meet someone. Distance to main station: 10 minute walk. Breakfast is only till 10:30 though, not late enough for us party animals! Stay here if you come to Prague- cheap, well located hostel!

Pension Gomerez Gallegos

Granada, Spain

Great and cheap location in the centre of Granada, great value for money! Not a place to meet people though - so if you're a solo traveller on the lookout, stay somewhere else!
