Nice hostel with very friendly staff. Located close to China Town, LRT and free busses. They have free breakfast, but I rather go outside for a better meal (you can only have so much toast with jam before you want something else). Big dorm rooms, however there is no windows in the rooms, so if you are used to wake up to daylight, it might be difficult for you. A good place to stay :)
Nice place to stay if you're open minded and not fuzzy. All rooms are bamboo huts, so they are not insulated, so gets cold at night. Toilets were nice and clean, but the hot showers aren't always hot. Laid back and chill atmosphere. The place to be if you're an aspiring or already are a hippie. I'd stay there again, but I'd bring a sleeping bag!
Really nice place to stay; the only thing I miss is a proper hang out room to meet other people. Arrange great tours. Super friendly staff. Super clean dorms. Loved the place!
Nice hostel close to everything. Great staff. Not much of a party hostel other than they have free beer every night. The cleanest rooms I have seen in a long, long time. Breakfast is not much to talk about, but there is several breakfast places around.
Cosy little hotel, about ten minute walk from the backpacker street. Really nice and accommodating staff, although they have varying levels of English. Tv in the room, cheep minibar, big beds and clean bathroom.

The backpacker hotel of Hoi An. Literally all the backpackers on the bus from Mui Ne and Hue ends up here. The place has a nice little pool, included really nice buffet breakfast (not very vegetarian friendly according my picky vegetarian friend) and clean rooms. Booked a four bed dorm, but was put in a six bed dorm. Many newbie backpackers also ends up at this hotel, so don't expect to much backpacker etiquette in the middle of the night from them. Close to the old town. Bicycle rent.
Ay okey hostel on the Mui Ne beach strip. Dorm room is small, there is sand everywhere and the toilet had permanent stains that looked like blood. The reception closes at 7:30 pm and just leave a backpacker guy as night guard. Nice little pool. The boss seems a bit unfriendly. The sand dune tour is waste of time and money.
Nice family hostel in the middle of Saigon. Only booked one night, but decided quickly yo stay longer! The dorms are huge and there is lockers there (you will need a padlock though). Hostel also sell bus tickets and tour tickets. Only negative thing was that I had asked for a wake up at seven in the morning, but that the morning staff forgot. Luckily I woke up by myself! Great place to stay in the middle of the backpackers area. All attractions are in walking distance (although a bit long).
This place really has the greatest staff, most of them speak really good English and they can help you pretty much anything. The bar and restaurant has live music every night, the food is good and the drinks are reasonably priced. In previous reviews there has been comments about bad security, but that is not the case anymore. Close to the beach and other bars. And did I tell you about the great staff?
A good hostel. The place doesn't have a common room, but a restaurant, so many people end up sitting in the groups they came in or alone. Nice and comfy beds. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller size, but it's ok. There is also only one shower pr dorm room (at least the small ones) and that is located where the shower is. The restaurant serves good food, reasonably priced, although you can find cheaper food on the street. The roof top bar serves really cheap beers and drinks.
For 100 Baht per night it's a excellent place to stay. The atmosphere is really relaxed and if you want something, it's fixable. Beds are Asian hard, so don't be surprised. They have their own bar and serves breakfast. Close to the beach. Easy access to other bars. Definitely worth a stay. (Thank you Justin Bieber ;)
Good hostel close to the beach and all the party places, but still far enough away to be completely quiet. No common room, but most people using this place is traveling by themselves, so you can meet other people in the rooms. Reception provides information and tickets, however, the staff can disappear without notice and you have to go looking for them. Free WIFI, but it's a bit unstable. All in all, good stay for the money.
First of all, this is a beach resort, so if you travel by yourself this is not a good place to stay, because everybody else is travel in couples or groups. When that is said, I have to say, what a luxury to stay there! Private beach, beach beds, restaurant, nice and friendly staff. Clean sheets and towels every day. Scooter rental and laundry service. What more can you ask for?
Never have I experienced a hostel with such friendly staff; from the moment I walked in it felt like I have stayed there forever and the staff were my best friends. Super dorms, big bathrooms and showers. Close to the river and Skytrain, so it's easy to get around. The hostel also has a lot of fun activities going on throughout the week. Also close to many clubs, and for those who prefer it; gay street. Definitely worth a stay!
Not my favorite hostel in Tokyo, but the stay could have been much worse if it hadn't been for the staff. The dorm room I stayed in was small and not very clean, but did the trick. The beds are, like many other places in Asia, rock hard. They have a bar with reasonable priced beer, but you are allowed to smoke in a corner, so you usually end up smelling like cigarettes at the end of the evening. The reception has some inconvenient opening hours, so be aware of that. All in all, an OK stay! :)
This is the third I've stayed at this hostel and it feels more and more like home every time I come here; they give you free breakfast, free laundry, they have a kitchen you can make at and TV, X-box and other fun stuff you didn't know you need when you're traveling. The beds are comfy and the staff is the nicest I have met in Asia (they also speak good English!).
A great hostel placed in the embassy/party area of Beijing. Great place to hang out for groups, however, as a solo traveler the hostel is a bit too big (but not a problem if you are good at socializing). Super nice staff who can help you with almost anything. The beds are not as rock hard at this hostel, as I have encountered other places here in Asia. Clean showers and public toilets. Good food (but be aware, the bread can be sweet) and nice drinks. Definitely the place to stay in Beijing.
Super nice and cosy hostel. Britt, Minyong, Mia and Jieong (seriously, I still dont know how to write her name) are the nicest staff ever. Only hostel I've been to here in Asia that has a kitchen. Free breakfast and towels - such a luxury! Close to the metro and shopping opportunities. If you have question, ask the staff, they know for sure!
This is the second time I stay at this hostel and I will keep coming back in the future. Nice and helpful staff that speaks good english. Normal soft beds. Ping pong table and pool table. Great breakfast and quiet roof bar. 24h hot water in the showers. I just love this place ^^
Had a great stay! Really nice staff, especially in the hostel bar. Good food, reasonably prices drinks. Super close to the embassy and bar area. Close to the metro. Had a private room and I recommend that to everyone (SUCH A LUXURY!)
If this is your first time to China, this is probably the best hostel you can stay at; really close to the Forbidden City, Tian'anmen square, close to the metro. The hostel is cheap (you should consider booking a private room - it's not that more expensive). The staff is super nice and help you out with whatever you need. They also have tours to the Great Wall. I would definitely stay here again.
Good hostel and I really liked that it was in a synagogue. I know Harbin is cold during the winters, but so was it also inside. Day staff was really nice and kind, where as the night staff were not as nice. The toilets are not very clean, and they only have one western style toilet (that I could find). Free Wifi. If I ever go back to Harbin (which I highly doubt), I'll probably stay here again :)
How can you not like this place? Probably the best hostel I've been to in a long, long time! They have nicest staff you'll ever going to meet. They have TV, X box and lots of films, and not to forget a KITCHEN! I actually got to make food for the first time in seven months. Happiness! As Arnold said, I'll be back!
I think I never been to a better hostel before, nice location close to the metro, nice rooms, air con/heating, a bar and FANTASTIC STAFF! Seriously, the staff is nothing less than fantastic, and they do anything for you! I love them!
Don't go here if you're a solo traveler, it's impossible to meet other people there. When that's said, everybody should try to live in a capsule at least once in their life. Probably not coming back though.
Great place to stay, and they have a wonderful cat named Handsome. It was rather busy when I was there due to the NYE weekend, so the staff was pretty stressed out, but still very nice! Soft beds compared to many other places in Asia. SUPER FANTASTIC LOCATION! I'll be back, that's for sure!
The hostess is really nice, speaks VERY good English and has a good knowledge of the city. She can direct you where to go, calls for taxis or rent you bikes. This hostel also has the softest beds in Taiwan, if not Asia. This is a place we'd like to return to.

Jackson is a very nice guy who owns the hostel. He speaks really good English and helps you with whatever you need. He also has a very nice motorbike he drives you on if you behave nice, smile and need to go somewhere else. Will go back, had a great time.
I never wanted to leave! Please, somebody, give me a visa to China, so I can go back to this wonderful place! Thanks to the staff; Weiwei, Liangliang and Mei Yangyang for making my stay unforgettable!
Nice place, very friendly staff, close to the bus, close to the beach, in the middle of Old Town. Clean. Rock hard beds. I'll definitely stay there again, but it's a bit hard to meet other people in this hostel if you're traveling solo.

Lovely hostel with great English speaking staff (though some communication problems). Softest beds I so far have tried in China. The bar is a good place to spend the nights even though it's a bit pricy. Nice and clean. I'm definitely coming back!
Nice hostel, but the one of the toilets was clogged, the staff was more interested in talking to each other than help the guests. It's freaking expensive to use the internet, including the Wifi. On my last day I was sent on a wild chase for the airport bus - which didn't go that day! But hey, I'll stay there again, but this is not a hostel for solo travelers.
Hot water, free breakfast, excellent staff, lots of fun and met a lot of nice, nice people there. No doubt I would go back :) And Mitch rocks! :D
Great place, but a bit too big if you travel by yourself. Great staff. Nice beds, clean rooms. Definatly going back there.
Great place to go by yourself. Nice staff. Lots of fun people. Going back!
Nice place if you travel by your self and don't like partys (at all!).
This is a brand new hostel I have to give the benefit of the doubt. A very nice hostel, and I'm certainly going back to, but as I said; very new, and therefore has its problems. Bring cutlery, a sharp knife, and you'll have no problems
Stayed there for only one night. Nice beds, and very clean. Some of the staff is really nice, but some of the eat lemons for breakfast!
David is the sweetest guy ever, and he made my stay so much funnier. A great place to meet new people, wheather you travel in a group, or by yourself. Great location, not far from to metros. Nice safe aera, and supermaked very close by. I can promise you as long as you follow the rules, you will have a superb stay!
