I've stayed at Le Tour Traveler's Rest Y.H. several times in the past few years and not much has changed in that time. I love the location and the staff are always friendly and helpful however I felt it was lacking a bit in atmosphere this last time I stayed there - mainly because the lounge area next to the reception was closed.
The bunk beds in room 305 (10 bed dorm) were very creaky!
A well-organised yet chilled place to stay. It would be good if they offered printing facilities.

Such a relaxing, peaceful place to return to after a busy day sightseeing or shopping in Beijing. The staff are all really welcoming and make you feel like one of the family.
A peaceful, relaxing place to stay at the end of my stay in China.
I stayed at Sim's a lot last summer so it was nice to go back there this year and see all the lovely staff again. The hostel also seemed to be quieter this time which was good, you didn't have to wait long to check-in/ask a question/be served etc.
I ended up staying at the Star Guest House instead.
