Very sweet , adorable, and helpful staff. Amazing location on the most charming and pleasant street in kiev. Great square around the corner with cheap beer and kvass stands. Awesome local farmers' market five minutes' walk. The cafe attached to the hostel closes at 12 so the noise is not an issue. it's actually a cool bar, with trivia nights and lots of students.. i wish i had spent more time there! anyway, i highly recommend this place - it's one of my favorite hostels in europe!
Helpful and welcoming staff, no problem with early check in, great location (just a few blocks from center of town), large kitchen and common area, wifi and computers for guests to use, definitely an amazing value. just a great all-around hostel. one piece of advice: know the exact address before you head out to find the hostel, as it is not well-marked but rather a door on the ground floor of an apartment building. if you're coming from the bus station, bus #3a will take you nearby for 2 gr.
Their extremely high rating is totally deserved. This is a place for everyone. Excellent staff, peaceful and quiet if you want it to be (good for party goers, but they do a great job of keeping the noise level down), terrific location (10-15 min walk from bus station, depending on luggage, right next to a great small farmers market), clean and comfy.
Loved this place. Very comfy, friendly environment. Beautiful old house with stunning views. Terrific location, helpful family who runs it. One of my favorite places I stayed in Eastern Europe.
Probably your best option for a comfortable, relatively-inexpensive night's sleep in Montreal. Lots of computers to use, friendly and helpful staff with good restaurant tips, on a quiet block.
possibly the greatest hostel in the world. excellent location on a quiet street around the corner from the main train station; helpful and adorable staff. free laundry, internet, and comfy rooms. they've thought of everything. i'm in moscow now and miss the soul kitchen already :)
Very centrally located. Easy to get around-- lots to do in the gaslamp district but also very easy to walk to the bus which is cheap and easy and gets you anywhere in town. Meg from GA gave amazing recommendations and all staff is so friendly and helpful. And on top of that-- free coffee ALL DAY!! great make-your-own-pancakes for [free] breakfast, too. Great hostel.
