Good location, good value for money. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, but not a big problem. Toast and cereal for breakfast was good. Not the most social hostel, everyone seemed to be happy sitting in reception using the WiFi rather than socialising. If you want a quiet, low cost place to stay, here is good. Would stay again.

Second time I've stayed here and it is still brilliant value for money, nice and helpful staff. Clean facilities throughout, handy little shop on site. Good bus connection to and from train station which is not too far from Cinque Terre National Park. Comfortable beds in pre-erected tents. Would definitely stay again :)

Good value for money. Staff not so professional, but didn't worry us. A 25min walk from town. Two kitchens, air con in rooms. Would stay again.

Orange juice served on arrival! Cold and refreshing. Good location, only a few mins walk to town. Quiet place, not a party place (but you can hang out until 2300hrs drinking etc). Good kitchen, air con in rooms, clean, pretty big rooms. Good internet. People that run it are very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend it, would stay again :)

Hostel Meyerbeer Beach

The most welcoming and friendly staff we've had at a hostel (stayed in over 20 this year alone). Clean rooms/facilities. Breakfast was good and included! Free beach towels, umbrellas, beach balls. Short walk to the beach and 10min walk to Old town. Has a small supermarket right beside it. 10 min walk to train station. Definitely recommend staying here!

A good safe hostel, close to the city, all main attractions are within walking distance. 15-25mins max. Handy to eurolines bus station. Value for money. We had a nice 6bed dorm for €19 pp pn. Only negative is the common area closing at 11pm. But thats not a biggie! Would stay again for certain!

Hostel Van Gogh

Good comfortable rooms, almost like a hotel. Close to a large supermarket. Tram line within a few mins walk. Then 15mins to central train station and all the sites of Amsterdam. Easy walk into Amsterdam. 3min walk to Van Gogh museum! - Negatives, no kitchen for cooking, only a microwave and fridge, staff had a bit of attitude.

Ottawa Backpackers Inn

Handy location, within 10 minute easy walk to the Rideau Canal. Byward Market and pubs within 5min walk. Close to metro supermarket and bottle shops! The commom room is open and ideal for socialising. The dorm rooms are big and the beds are comfortable (some mattresses a little over used) but on a whole very good rooms! Bathrooms are good and although there are only a few on each floor, there never seemed to be a wait to use them. The kitchen is a bit small, but sharing the space its fine 7/10
