Leo Hostel

Beijing, China

Great hostel with lots to do if you need a break! Film room, bar/restaurant, board games etc. Staff are helpful with places to eat and finding internet cafes. Good location, a 5 minute walk from Tian'anmen Square. Cheap supermarket just next door.

Hello Thank you for your comments. Come to Leo Hostel and "take a break from travelling"! Regards Leo Hostel

A great location in Beijing, the room was good and very clean - good value for money. The free breakfast was decent but staff could have been friendlier. We took the Jinshanling to Simati tour which was ideal, a 6km hike to do at your own pace.

We only stayed here for one night but can see the full potential of the place. The large dorm bathroom was unclean and appeared left that way the whole day but apart from that we had a pleasant stay here. The owner was extremely helpful organising our onward journey to Beijing and the courtyard was lovely for sitting and eating.

Han Tang Inn Hostel

Xi'an, China

Great stop for a night or two in Xi'an, close to the Muslim Quarter and Drum & Bell towers. A pity they couldn't help us book train tickets for places other than Xi'an, however a lovely clean hostel with a good atmosphere.

Great place for an overnight stop in Nanning whether you're going to Vietnam or further into China.

Hanoi Tony's Hotel

Hanoi, Vietnam

Ideal for sightseeing in Hanoi. Basic set up, both bedroom and bathroom clean. The problem was there was only one computer working and it was very slow, and there was no breakfast to buy as advertised. Helpful when booking bus tickets to Nanning, China.

Dai Long Hotel

Hoi An, Vietnam

A nice little place to stay in whilst in Hoi An. The bedroom was clean and big enough, with a TV and ensuite. Staff were helpful in booking train tickets and were very efficient. 10 minute walk to the centre of Hoi An, some nice cheap restaurants outside and bicylce hire.

Budget Hostel

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Exactly what it says on the tin, we paid for the cheapest bed and thats what we got. A little cramped in the 10 bed dorm but good enough for our 3 night stay in Ho Chi Minh. Free computer to use and a free breakfast (if you like cold noodles!). Friendly and helpful staff.

Me Mates Place

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Me Mates Place served its purpose, a cheap nice room near enough to the touristy places. The pool advertised is in another hostel about a 15 minute walk away, the staff could have been a bit more friendly.

Rosy Guest House

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Rosy's Guesthouse was brilliant, after a hard day of temple trekking it was a great place to come back to. With decent food, free pool table and DVD hire, plenty of beer it had everything we needed. However, we stayed in the cheapest double which got extremely hot in the evening even with the fan on, so I'd suggest paying a little more for a better room.
