I had a great stay. The staff really made me feel at home, and were very helpful with whatever i needed.
The hostel itself was fine. Pretty much like any other hostel. Everything is there plus the bar is nice. It's also very close to the subway and busstop, which is very convenient. The staff however was very rude and treated us like we were there to bug them everytime we even said hello. Check-in time is from 2 pm, which is kinda late and you have to pay 5 pound safety deposits on everything. Can't say we felt very welcome, but it was fine. I wouldn't recommend it to a lone-traveler.
There is a very easy going vibe at the rethymnon youth hostel. Everybody felt at home and was at ease. Of course Yvan makes this hostel to the succes it is. He's always in for a chat or to help you plan out your activities during your stay. Thank you Yvan for making my stay in Crete to a succes.
The Caveland was one of the most beautiful hostels i've ever seen. It's a bit remote, but within a 15-20 minute walk you're in town, however there are supermarkets a lot closer. Definately would stay there again and recomend it to others.
There is not really anything wrong with this hostel. It's fine, and it's quite cheap. You'll definately get your money's worth.
Far Out is The daytime party of Ios. It's a great place to hang out by the pool, and have a couple of drinks just after you get back from the beach and just before you have your shower and dinner (and go to town after). It's more fun for groups than it is for single travelers though. Still i had a great time there, even as a lonesome traveler.
Pella-Inn is a great hostel. It's very close to the centre and has a nice character. I've felt very comfortable and welcome here.
I had a great time in Benvenuti Backpackers. Thanks to every room having a balkony it is easy to meet people. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and its just 5 minutes walking to the mainstreet and the beach.. All in all, i really liked it and would come back if i ever were in Rimini again!
