Nice clean hostel with good sized rooms and loads of bathrooms and showers. Staff were friendly but seemed a bit unorganised. The only grizzle I have is that we arrived at 8am and knew we wouldn´t be able to check in but we hadn´t slept the night before due to a bus and the staff knew this and put no rush on getting the room ready. It was finally ready half and hour after the offical check in time, which I think is a bit poor.
Have stayed here before and would again too. It´s a great basic hostel with a good bar which has loads of relaxed atmosphere. It´s a great place to meet like-minded people. Santiago is awesome!!
The cheapest hostel we found in Quito, so value for money is awesome. It´s a fairly basic hostel but not much can be done to it as it´s a protected site. The facilities are great though, with good sized dorms, clean bathrooms, a shared kitchen and bar and tv area with a massive flat screen tv! Santiago, the owner is amazing and so helpful!
The staff here at very firnedly and there´s a pool with a bar so this is always a bonus. It´s a little out of town but it´s fine because it´s a really cheap tuk tuk ride into town and the staff will ensure to get a tuk tuk for you. Rooms are basic but clean so can´t complain.
clean bathrooms, comfy beds and nice, cheap food. it was in a good location and there were secure facilities to store luggage while we did machu picchu!
very annoyed by the man in reception being drunk as we checked in.he was clumsy, very casual about moving us into a 10bed dorm when we booked
Really nice basic hotel with private rooms. The staff are helpful, booking tickets for us and the breakfast was good. Hotel was nice and clean too. I would warn against getting laundry done here; the prices to di it were insane!!!
staff really friendly but the lady on the front desk doesn't really speak English...aside from this though all staff went out of their way to help! good bar facilities and nice clean rooms with ensuites. I would definitely recommend!
all in all a great hostel. travel agent on site to help plan all your trips, great location, the staff are really helpful and the bunks in the dorms are comfortable. clean rooms too. would definitely recommend!
It's in a great location, near loads of bars and restaurants and is easy walking distance to busses and the metro, but it was being renovated and therefore was very messy. Most of the rooms opened up onto a central courtyard where people drank and were incredibly loud all night long so we got no sleep. The breakfast is not worth getting up for, the staff were unhelpful and uninterested in us and the showers were often flooded and dirty. I would not recommend to anyone.
The rooms are really nice; b & b style and the breakfast is really nice too, with lots of fresh fruit in addition to the normal bread and ham. The man at reception was amazing and even though we only allowed one day for both sides of the falls he helped us made sure we got the most out of our day. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!
The best hostel I've ever stayed at! Such an awesome atmosphere, with the staff arranging activities every night and joining in on the party! Rodrigo is amazing, and the rest of the team awesome as well! Really nice rooms, clean bathrooms, good breakfast and the vibe to be able to party hard or just relax, depending on your mood. Would recommend in a heartbeat!!
Nice small hostel with lovely, very helpful staff and clean bathrooms. Rooms themselves not very secure but there are lockers in the rooms and the beers are cheap so can't complain!
Hostel is in a great location and is clean and tidy throughout. The staff we casual to the point of annoyance though...taking forever to check us in because they were just chatting amongst themselves and telling us that in future we should really pool our money together rather than splitting the bill to pay for the room...it's a hostel; that's always going to happen. Our shower door didn't lock either which was proved interesting at shower time.
