Met so many amazing people here especially the staff. theres something on every night. Such a friendly open minded atmosphere perfect if u travel alone. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Miami :)

I didn't like that I couldn't bring even my small bag up to my room. Location is a fair way out but at least you get some quiet at night time

i was a bit overwhelmed when i first arrived everyone seemed to know eachother and all the rooms stayed opened so u cant just chill for a minute when u get there. it does force u to make friends and u need to be up for a party. good showers, right on the beach and olga is lovely couldnt stay for more than a couple of nights though as theres no privacy and dont get much sleep.

Full length mirrors is a great point! Thanks so much for the nice review. We strive to leave our guests feeling rested and happy when they leave. I will see about getting more mirrors installed and the power points are already being addressed. Again, thanks for your time and best of luck in your future travels. Dear guest, Thank you so much for your feedback, it is very much appreciate as it will help us to improve in areas we may be lacking. I understand how difficult it can be sometimes when guests have large items of luggage to carry up and down stairs, the top floor is the third floor and we do advise guests that it may be a better idea to leave larger items in the Luggage room and just take the essentials to the rooms rather than carrying everything. I appreciate however that this is not always convenient. I am sorry you experienced problems with the showers, this is the first I have heard of any problems. They are on timer to prevent them being left on but I will have maintenance take a look at these timers to see if they can be amended. the WiFi was a problem a few weeks ago and I have since changed supplier and all is well now with that. I do hope these incidents didn't cause you too much inconvenience and would hope you will return to Journeys Brighton on your next visit to the UK. Thanks again for taking the time to give us your feedback. Regards Steve Stott Hostel manager

its a little far out you have to buy a zone1-4 tube pass the showers only last 15 seconds and breakfast only goes til 9am and its not very good. however it was one of my more pleasant stays i think mostly cause of the free internet and the girls i had in my room also the guy at reception was awesome.
