Check Inn HK

Room was a bit cram with 9 people in a small room. But bed is comfortable, and every guest is given a locker. Living room is small too, if the hostel is fully book, it will be very crowded. Staff is friendly and helpful. Just that they allow lights and chats in the living room after midnight. But it didn't affect me too much as I was in a further bed from the door. One good thing is that they allow me to take a shower before heading to the airport. Appreciate this simple & yet thoughtful move.

This is my 2nd stay in Yesinn @ Fortress Hill. I love the neighbourhood. Very local and slighty away from the busy Causeway Bay, but still very accessible to Causeway Bay if need. We stayed in a twin room this time, room is small (but we are in HK, so can't expect a big room), but still manageable for us. Room even come with TV! Free drinking water (hot and cold) available 24 hours. Simply love this simple yet friendly hostel. Will be back again when back in HK.

This hostel is small but cosy. The common area is a great place to meet up with the rest of the guests, both international & Japanese guests. The owner is a very nice lady who will introduced the guest to each other, so that we can 'break the ice' much easier. I love my stay here. The only thing I'm not very pleased is there is no warm water (icy cold from the cold weather) for the basin upstairs to wash my face, but it's fine as the heater for the basin in the kitchen is on. Worth staying.

Good location! very near to the JR station and the port. Staff are friendly and will show you how to access to certain sight-seeing attraction. Dorm is big. Enough place to put your bags. Futon mattress is placed directly on top of the wooden plank bed, it hurts my bed when I sleep. Unlike some other hostels where they place a mattress pad under the futon. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Nice and clean to stay in. Although the room for the dorm is very small, but it is ok. Not that bad. clean and quite easy accessible by JR or subway. Worth staying if travel alone.

Very inexperience front-desk counter staffs except for one. Check in was asked to pay for extra room price until the experience staff point out the first gal's mistake. The one who handle my check-out in the morning just took the slip and didn't even return my deposit until I ask from her. Hostel provided simple chinese breakfast but I doubt many know as they didn't inform us when we check in. But transport arrangement is good and effective. The driver who drove us was very good!

HI-Sukhumvit

I've been staying at here since its opening in 2006. Hi-Sukhumvit is always my first choice for a hostel whenever I travelled to Bangkok. I like the female dorm and the 'Female only' toilet and bathrooms, which means single female travellers can feel sercure. The owner Mr. Pitt is always smiling and doing his best for his guests who he treated as his friends. I strongly recommend this hostel for anyone who want a quiet place to relax. The 2 mins walk to BTS station is easy for access to anywhere
