Though a bit hard to find, this hostel is only short stroll from downtown and value for money is great. It was perfect for 2 nights.
Nice beds and facilities. The only downside is the longer walking distance to the city center.
THE STAFF!!! One of the best I encountered in my life!
Hard to find but worth the trouble. Mattresses on the roof are cheaper and it is cool place to sleep. And you can always count on a pleasant chill-out in the ground floor atrium every night.
The columbian staff is perfect. Definetly try the roof bar before early wake up call to Machu Picchu.
You can find cheaper options in Cusco, but the character and location are worth the money spent.

Other rooms might be fine, but our 4 bed dorm was extremly small (2/3 of the room is filled by beds) and made of ex-storage room.
No English, no idea about our reservation. Just chose Naxi Family Guesthouse if you can.
