Far too expensive for a tiny room and check out at 10am. Hotel prices with hostel accomodation. Unfortunately not a hostel atmosphere though. Rooms cramped especially toilet and shower - I'm not very big and even I felt claustrophobic in the double room private ensuite shower. There has to be better value than this in Auckland

EXCELLENT! We had a really good stay here, the staff are really helpful and friendly - we got lots of information on things to do, maps, tours etc when we checked in. The breakfast is really good and is available til 11am! The location is perfect - only a short walk to the beach and beside all the shops, bars, restaurants, buses etc.and very safe even at night. The hostel is very clean and there's a lovely common area to chat with other guests. We would highly recommend this hostel. Thanks guys!

DREADFUL We booked 3 nights but when we arrived they told us there was only availability for 1 night & they would organise an apartment for us for the following 2 nights. There are renovation works going on in the hostel & we were unable to organise a new hostel (it was the weekend) so we had no choice but to stay. We had to pay up front & our room was very drab-the shower didn't work. We got no sleep due to the building works, the kitchen is unusable & there's no common area. Overpriced Dump.
