Very cool hostel and ideally located near the central train & bus station. Nice terrace to hang out on warm summer evenings. Own facilities for each dorm are a nice thing. Although I didn't really like the city itself, this hostel is excellent.
Hatters was a really enjoyable place to stay and it was a shame we only spent there one night on the way to our actual holiday location. We had a private room for 2 in the top level of the building with a nice view. Beds were very good and the breakfast was above hostel average. Well maintained toilets/showers on various floors were also nice. Overall a cool building itself.
I only had a one night stay, but liked the place. Due to my short stay I did not use the facilities of the hostel a lot. I liked the fact that it's located near the tube station and a lot of nice places for food etc.
Had a nice weekend away at this hostel. Cozy beds are always a treat at hostels and also the big kitchen is really cool. The owners are very nice and helpful, too. The tram is just a few minutes away and you get to the city centre and other spots really quick.
Stayed 2 nights during August. Hostel is in normal living house flat(s). Room was basic, but just the availability of an airco makes it a big plus against a lot of other hostels during summer. 1 bathroom/toilet togehter for both sexes, but in good condition. Location is a bit off the main sights (if there are any...), but as a transport hub it's perfect. A small supermarket and a bakery are located next door. The common room is more like the living room of a normal flat + was only used by staff.
Hostel is directly in the centre of beautiful Kotor. Bars/restaurants next door (so also don't forget your earplugs). Doors to hostel + dorm were not locked for most of the time, therefore a low security-rating. The offered dinner for just 5EUR is excellent and authentic. The day trips are worthy, but the organisation of the staff is quite chaotic (tours cancelled on a "definitely takes place"-day, unsureness the evening before if it takes place etc.). Despite some chaos I recommend this hostel.
Not really felt like a hostel, more like a rented apartment. Stayed in a 5-bed-dorm that had an own living room with sofa and liked the fact that there was a fridge in it. Cleanliness was good. Bus stop to old town is close (but keep in mind that during peak times buses are often overcrowded and you have to wait for the next or second-next, esp. when you are in a hurry). Beach and bars are very close (but not used by me). Large supermarket next door is good.
Only stayed for one night and therefore not much to experience at the hostel. Living room and kitchen seemed very nice, but were not used by us. Standard hostel rooms with toilet/shower. Nice staff.
Booked a single room for 6 nights and had a 4-persons-room on my own. Some members of staff seem to be indifferent about guests. Has a good common room with TV and games, but no ones uses it coz of the lack of atmosphere. Cool terrace, but not used/cleaned frequently. Toilets/Shower hardly cleaned, toilet paper was empty at least 5 times during stay. During my 6 days a lot of things broke at facilities and where not repaired (toilet locker etc.). Hostel could be really cool if they only tried.
I had a really great stay at this hostel. It's not a typical hostel, more a kind of private accomodation in the house the owners live in.Nice rooms with a/c and big beds (none of the narrow bunk beds you find elsewhere). Very clean facilities+very helpful staff in this family-run hostel. It's only a few minutes from the Old Town of beautiful Mostar, so one can't do wrong by choosing Hostel Nina. Both offered tours (Mostar walking tour+daytrip of the area) are warmly recommended. Loved this place!
Probalby my favorite hostel ever. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Nice dorms with AC plus curtains and light for every bed. Superclean facilities and nice little common room. Hostel is really small so it is made sure that you are always treated and helped in a very personal way. If you want to stay at a hostel that makes a difference, choose this one. A big 'Thank you' to Maja and the other people at the hostel.
We (2 persons, m/w) stayed for only one night, therefore not much to comment about in depth. Room (4-bed dorm) was okay. Beds rather old, but in good condition. Toilet/Shower were shared for male/female and rather narrow. Very clean, anyway. Breakfast was a mess. Only one type of rolls (obviously made of old paper), no bread. Only few things to put on it, hardly any variety what to drink. Bf room not cleaned during bf time. so it's not clean at all (old dishes and crumbles on tables etc.).
Hostel located perfectly next to the river in the old part of Lj.,lots of cafes etc. only metres away. Room: Walls had a lot of seaming etc. Beds were good, nice sleeping. Very large locker. Shared shower in very bad condition, large amount of mildew on walls and ceiling above the cabin. Toilet not cleaned very often. On 1st evening toilet was a real mess (not the staffs fault, some idiot user),but only cleaned next afternoon - urgh. Staff often didn't reply to a "hello" etc., felt a bit ignored.
Breakfast buffet is absolutely worth the little additional money.
