Super helpful friendly staff! For a short trip it's not a bad stop. The shared room wasn't cleaned (overflowing bins) and blocked showers so dirty water to stand in. Amazing food stalls but means you get locals coming and it's hard to know who is hostel vs visiting. So travelling alone it wasn't the best place for meeting people. Theres a supermarket and little craft stalls and they help you out with surfing. Overall an OK place aside from the cleanliness, which lots of people mentioned :(

Great hostel, good location. Obviously with Covid things were a tad different. No staff were there but they messaged with information. Beds are comfortable! I was in the loft which is a great space but it has no door so a little open (which some people may not like). It does make it a tad louder as you can hear people on the lower floor. However I found it a lovely stay and met some nice people! Has everything you need, comfortable and right in the centre near the beach. Would recommend!

Pretty basic hostel but nice enough. I only stayed here for one night but the staff were super helpful with hikes and the area and it's clean with good breakfast. There wasn't much atmosphere, perhaps in busier times this changes? Also be aware this hostel is NOT next to Grindewald station, it's next to Grindewald Grund which is 15 minutes down the road. A lot of people made seemed to have made this error (including me). And only one hob in the kitchen, so when busy a bit of a wait.

Really lovely hostel on the main street. I stayed here for three nights and could happily have stayed longer. All the little extras you need they have - plugs and lights next to the bed, good kitchen, outside area to chill and chat, hairdryer in the bathrooms! Good atmosphere here, most people were out hiking all day so sat and hung out in the evening. Staff were also really helpful with hiking suggestions etc. Supermarket and station 2 minutes walk. Definitely would go back if I was there again

Nice place, easy to get around for a few days in Lucerne. Rooms are nice but no individual lights at the beds, so not helpful if anyone is sleeping and you need to do anything. Breakfast is included and really nice. There is a kitchen but you can only use it between 4pm-10pm so not good for making lunch or your own breakfast if you needed to. Id stay here again though, only small things, nothing that put me off as it's a nice hostel overall.

Lovely hostel and has everything you could really need. Not much atmosphere though so hard to meet people here. So much space people don't really interact and no activities to encourage it. Good base though and easy enough to get to the centre / old town. Free breakfast is really good! Big communal area too. Staff were helpful. I only stayed for two nights but I'd stay again if I needed a place in Zurich.

Brilliant hostel in a really central location, there's shops right next door. The staff here are great and if you are travelling alone it's a brilliant place to meet people. I was here for three nights and would happily go back! The beds are comfy (the steps for climbing up are not the best but this is a minor issue) and they even give you free breakfast and dinner! They also encourage games in the evening so you get to meet everyone. Felt more like a home style hostel as it's quite small.

Ok location - You can walk to the main areas in 30/40 minutes and we found buses close by to main attractions. Rooms are decent - straighteners in the female dorms! Lots of school trips about though which kills the atmosphere a little, and the 'bar' is more like a mini canteen. Also the staff on reception were lovely but not very knowledgeable (maybe lots of travellers?). Plus they charge for sheets and lockers which is a little annoying. Would stay again though, decent place for a weekend.

Hostel is right near the station which is handy. You can rent bikes from them which was great and the staff were pretty helpful. Only downside is there was zero atmosphere here! Everyone seemed like they didn't want to be disturbed and we're all sat up in their beds. Not great if you are travelling alone. Also limited showers so I had to wait 20 minutes to get in. Otherwise a comfortable place for a nights sleep if you are just looking for a place to crash.

Nice place in a decent location, it was only ten minutes from the station walking. The beds were comfy and private which was nice. However I wouldn't recommend for single travellers as I met nobody there. Lots of families and groups which was a little expected. It's also quite spaced out so not much of an atmosphere. Staff were helpful though and overall for a night it wasn't bad. Not sure I'd stay longer though.

Really great atmosphere, and staff were lovely. Two minute walk to the ferry and supermarket and really sociable place. Good if you are travelling alone! You can even make pancakes for breakfast and they let you stay down in the bar area after closing to hang out. I'd definitely go back again.

Thank you for your kind comment! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed not only the hostel but also neighborhood. We try making our hostel like your home away from home even if you travel just by yourself, so good to know the common area and the bar worked well for you. Thank you for letting us know. Really great location and staff are super helpful with what to do and see. They even give you sweets when you leave! I found it a little quiet and not so great for meeting people but it could have just been the time (and the pods in the rooms means you never see anyone in there). I'd recommend though, beds were super comfy. The only slight issue was the ceiling lighting which you can't turn off in the rooms so the one above my bed was on all night and made it really hard to sleep (top bunk).

Overall a nice hostel (staff were very friendly) however thin walls so if you are a light sleeper not so great - I could hear a guy snoring in the next room. Also, I was put in a room with 5 girls who turned up at 11.30pm and were unpacking and chatting until 1am. I know this happens in hostels but someone from reception even came banging on the door at 12am to give them something and said nothing so perhaps they need to be a little more careful with making sure late check-ins respect others.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and found it to be a nice hostel. Has everything you might need - individual plugs and lights etc, down to a hairdryer free snacks / sake! Beds are also very comfortable. The only thing I'd say is its a little far from all the main attractions of Tokyo so prepare for a bit of travelling about if you plan to see everything.

Nice enough hostel and for what you pay you get what you expect - clean, good location and staff are nice. The puzzle rooms in the hostel are also a nice bonus! It's not a fancy hostel and has a bit of wear and tear but the price reflects this. The only small thing is its down an alleyway with little lighting so as a female arriving on my own it was a bit daunting. Fine in the daytime though.

Great place, really good standards for a hostel. The room was clean and almost felt like a hotel room (with dorm beds). The staff were helpful and it's easy to get to most places you'd need to go from here. You can book tours with the reception which is helpful and there's a few common areas if you want to meet people. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The hostel is run by a really friendly, helpful couple who genuinely seem to want everyone to have a good time. They helped us plan for our trek and are knowledgeable about the area. They are also sociable and make you feel at home! The place is also clean, warm and has a great homely atmosphere. The kitchen has everything you need and lots of tables, sofas and communal areas. Its a great place for the cost you pay. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who goes to Puerto Natales to stay here.
