helpful staff speaks many languages, very nice clean rooms with privacy courtains, sturdy non-shaky beds. Nice bathrooms, but showers could use hooks and internal counrtain to separate clothes form water. The pool is a nice touch. The free breakfast is very good. One issue is that when I checked out I forgot my trainers from the room and when I came back later it turned out that they have not been turned in (the staff searched through a lost and found cupboard). It's right in the old town!

The room was overall very nice and clean (I hope that bedspread and the scatter cushions get a regular wash!). The shower curtain needs changing, it was yellowish brown on the seams. The bed was comfortable, there was an armchair, a little table and hangers on the wall. No wardrobe, but there was a chest of drawers. The only things needed were a small beside table and reading light next to the bed. There was a guest kitchen and fridge which seemed like a good idea although we haven't used it.

The hostel is extremely difficult to find, no sign outside WHATSOEVER! You need to ring the bell in the bulding on the right of 7 Eleven. Staff was nice and helpful, but not very welcoming (very quiet and not smiley at all). We were slightly unlucky, because I booked the basic twin, which turned out to be super niny and had no window! (athough they advertise all rooms have windows). I had to pay extra to change to a double room, but staff gave me a discount. Good location, but no living room.
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay, We are improving those areas of our hostel as well providing more info in our Website. Regards to your room as is described -Basic Twin Room- do not have window facing the street and private bathroom nevertheless regardless you can't modify your reservation at that time we offer you that discount and afterwards change to a double room which normally is not available for short stay, making those exceptions to help you guys. Next time if you guys come here we will be more than happy to provide you all the information you would need at any stage, Regards, Andres.

Good location, 4 bed ensuite female dorm was pleasant. Nothing wrong with this hostel per se, but it just feels like student halls. Has no character, no personality. There is no lounge and no soft seats, just tables and chairs at reception. Staff could be friendlier and more smiley. Drinks could be cheaper. Music in the evening tool lound, can't talk with a friend. Smoking allowed in the evening which I found very strange. But it's still an ok place to sleep.

The cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in! Right in the city centre, stone's throw from Alfama, near metro. Very clean hostel, friendly and helpful staff, lovely common room. I stayed in adeluxed 6 bed female dorm and it was fantastic. The beds very very sturdy wooden bunks, not flimsy and squeaky at all. Had privacy courtains, personal light, plug, a shelf and a private storage drawer. The room also had a table, 2 full length mirrors and a hair dryer! Perfect! The showers were fantastic.

To my great surprise most hostels is singapore didn't have high flying reviews! In such an ordered and clean country the hostels has reviews of being dirty and loud. So I picked the Tree Inn Lodge, which is a bit further from the centre, but had the best reviews. It's not new, swanky and super clean, like you might be used to in Europe's capitals, but it's extremely chilled and friendly, with eco ethos and very well communicated by buses to all attractions. Gold star staff! No windows in do

We stayed two night is a twin room, which was huge, the largest twin I've ever seen in a hostel! It was very clean, they put the sheets on for you and provide a towel for free, there was also hand soap in the bathroom. The reception staff were very nice. When we arrived we got a voucher for a free drink. Only things to improve are that the luggage storage room is not behind the reception desk so anyone can get in and it would be nice to have a bigger and comfier lounging area.

Fantastic location in the old town but not near loud music bars. Friendly staff, big room with fridge, the bathroom was brand new which was an very pleasant surprise. Travel office round the corner there we booked trips to the lakes. Friendly staff.

It's a massive hostel, that admits school groups and organised tours, so for us it wasn't a good choice. there was nothing wrong with the hostel per se, but it just didn't have a friendly homey hostely feeling. It was clean, good location, ok price for a private double room. But it's a budget hotel rather than a hostel. There was no feeling of community, now living room as such, no cooking together. It's fine if you're looking for a very basic hotel.
Thabks for your review! I hope you enjoyed our great city and found some delicious food somewhere else, instead of cooking. A lot of people here meet in our bar, I hope you didn't missed that?! We would like to see you again, have a great and safe trip! Cheers!

What a wonderful place! this is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. the private double bed cabin was absolutely lovely, clean and good value for money. It was amazing how it had everything one might need (bed, table and chairs, mirror, shelf and 3 lamps! :) I liked the laminate floor which looked new. There was even a heater in the room which worked magic in the evening. The breakfast bus was just the best, very good peanut butter btw! I loved the hammocks and the bean bags in the sun :)
Thanks for your positive review, awesome!
