Cons: WC's and showers constantly overflowing with stuff (yuck). Internet available only on the stairs or in the kitchen, but the connection is very poor, very difficult to use. Pros: great location and rooms are ok, though. Funny staff.

Advantages: very low price for a separate room- really great. Not far from the metro station. Also, free wifi. And although I had to share the bathroom, there were several of them, so you can always find one free. Main drawback: very poor sound isolation, so bring earplugs if you have plans to go to sleep before 1 or 2 am. Also, the address where I lived was different from the one on the website or booking info. Luckily I had their phone number and was picked up, so be sure to keep it close too.

we stayed at casa diagonal during our first ever visit to barcelona, and that was a great experience. The location is very good, very close to multiple metro stops and to the train station (headed for the airport, the figueres, montserrat etc) as well. We got a room overlooking the avinguda diagonal so the nights were a bit noisy. however, the apartment has got a terrace in the inner yard, which is fantastic for late mornings and evenings. the owners are fantastic people, very easy to communicate to, and
