If you are looking for a quite and cute place in a great location to sleep after a day of exploring this is it. It's in the heart of Antigua just blocks from everything. The staff is nice and helpful. I traveled solo and enjoyed my private room. Highly recommend if you plan on spending most of your time on tours and exploring.

Amazing hostel. Very, very clean and a great place to just relax. Security is great even though I hate wearing the bracelet. Only thing I didn't like is the location... yes it's in the marina but quite a walk to get away from the touristy area. I would stay here again though.

Perfect hostel, in a great location. I loved loved loved the POD in the 20+ bed dorm. I was skeptical at first, but it's perfect. It's like I had my own tiny room. I could just hide out after a long day of walking all over the city. My only concern was I did think £2 to rent a towel is excessive.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We are so pleased to read the points you have made about our brand new pods, the privacy you get from the pod is great after a long day of sightseeing. We thank you for your feedback regarding the towels and hope that you enjoy the rest of your travels! KA Manager.

Everything was great and perfect. It's in a central location and near everything. It is very clean and they help you with all your needs.

This is one of those hostels where you must wear a WRIST BAND at all times. It's so annoying & seriously not necessary. I stayed in the 4 bed dorm (no AC) and even with 4 fans it was very hard to sleep cus of the heat. Was beyond unbearable and had to just shower right before going to bed. Seriously the only good thing about this hostel is the pool (oh it's amazing & much needed cus of the heat) & the breakfast. It's worth it cus of those two things. Other than that not.

Just your basic hostel, nothing amazing about it. The beds are hard, the wifi is decent for Laos standards, the place is clean but not so clean, the pool advertised is horrible, but for 2 nights it's okay. The breakfast is great though & you can walk to all the main attractions.

One of the best hostel I've stayed at in a while. Seriously it's so clean, the wifi works great, it's in a good location (short walk to pub street and markets), the beds are huge and even has a pool. I ended up staying an extra night to do nothing one cus yeah was just so good. Oh &WARNING don't book any tours at the hotel they're way overpriced. Also if you're going to 4000 islands don't pay more than $17 for transportation and know it won't include the boat. Was scammed in Laos by that...FYI.

Was only here a night because was arriving late from a flight and didn't want to deal with getting further into the island. It's very close to the airport. It's clean and has great wifi. Only thing is I think it's way over priced for what you're getting. Should be cheaper but for a night didn't hurt!
Dear Jaime, Thank you for the feedback! (:

The hostel is great. Has an amazing breakfast, is very clean, has decent wifi for Myanmar standards, the staff is amazingly nice. Honestly it's perfect except its location. Sadly it's not walking distance to anything. You have to rent a bike or moped to get anywhere. By bike was a nice way to see the city but they should invest in new bikes. Other than that it's worth staying if you don't mind that. I road the bike to U-Bain bridge for sunset and was nice!!!

Great hostel in a great location. It is very clean and the beds are nice and AC is amazing! Wifi is a little slow but that cus it's Myanmar. Only thing I didn't like was the some of the staff doesn't speak English and is hard to understand them when you ask them question. It's not a biggie but makes things difficult.

Spent 5 nights here and loved it. The dorms are brand new in the hotel & great. Each bed has it's own outlet, light and a curtain. It's like your own personal capsule. It's a great hostel to just spend time alone if you need a break from everything like I did. Only 2 complaints for the price though I do think they could include free breakfast. The wifi while it works all the time it's very slow. It did reach the dorms so that was nice, but slow. The staff is nice, especially Alvi!

Anyone can come & go from the hostel as they please since the staff is never there. It's in the middle of no where with nothing really near by unless you have a scooter. We arrived and waited over an hour to be checked in. The owner or person who runs it is a surfer and always out. He was out surfing when we arrived. It's more of a frat house than a hostel. It is clean but the floors are always wet and slippery. For what you get this hostel should not cost what it cost. wifi is slow& power cuts.

It's a great hostel in a great location with a great atmosphere. I would stay there again if I visit Ubud again. Only thing that's wrong with it is the staff. They're like non excistant. They don't talk with you unless you talk with them and the few times I did felt like they didn't know how to talk with guest. It's a great hostel to meet people. Don't expect any type of discounts on anything. Tours are cheaper at agency down the street.

My friend and I booked a twin private room and was great. Very clean with free bottle of water, shampoo, soap and towel! Wifi was a bit slow but worked fine for everything we needed it for. Goco is so helpful. It's a bit far from the main drag but not a bad walk. You must eat at Just Juice. A very nice place with cheap fresh fruit juices and meals. Looks like a tourist place but is 100% local with wifi! Walk to the Main Street make a right right and walk about 5 mins away from train station.

Great hostel with everything you need. Great free breakfast, great wifi on every floor and great cheap food across the street. Easy to find and get to from the airport or train station. Also if you need souvenirs the top floor of Batik Keris is walking distance from there and has great selection of everything.

Spent 10 nights here in a 4 bed dorm & it was great. Can't beat the prices for the location it's in. I literally was able to walk just about everywhere I needed to to see all the main attractions. When I needed the subway the stop was less than a block away. Wifi worked amazing and loved that each floor & the roof had their own router. The only thing I do wish they had done was be sure and clean the room every day. Was never messy but small trash cans would fill up fast when the room was full.

Arrived exhausted from a flight from London. Finally made it here only to be told the 3 nights I book weren't put in the system & the hostel was fully book. I ask a few questions and he just kept saying sorry. I booked well in advance & couldn't believe it. They then told me to go to partner hostel few blocks up the hill. Nothing was explained. As for the location if you only have a few days stay somewhere more central near all the palaces. This neighborhood is nice but geared toward foreigners.

Just a basic hostel. Sadly nothing special about it. Crazy that the dorms don't have lockers. Seriously a hostel with no lockers just doesn't seem right. Yes they will lock your bag while you are out but that's such a hassle for everyone. The WiFi is one of those have to login on a website and it's horrible. Was always coming and going. The hostel itself is kinda clean but not really. It is one of the cheapest options so for a night or 2 maybe 3 it's fine. Great location though!!!

Great chic hostel. Very clean with good wifi... just slow on the top dorm room in the attic. Felt like the bathrooms were limited as well, but other than that it's perfect and worth the stay for a few nights.

The hostel is a bit far from the city center and not many cheap places to eat near by. Aside from that though it's a great hostel. Loved the vibe and loved the nightly family dinners. Also the queen size beds are fantastic!!!

Stayed here 4 years ago & came back cus I loved it then & still loved it this time around too. It's a great hostel, with a great atmosphere. The wifi is iffy, but works well enough. The AC is only turned on if you ask for it to be turned on. It's hot with out it and cold with it so get a blanket from the little closet in the dorm or ask for one.
Gracias por tu comentario. I hope that you will come again and still like our hostel. Contact us if you want also enjoy our other hostel in the South of Spain or Tangier and Chefchaouen. See you.

Stayed in the single private room for 5 nights and loved it. Everything was great. The owner and people help run the hostel are amazing and always willing to help. If you are going to do some shopping ask him for tips. The wifi works amazing 24/7 and reaches the single room...lol. I finally caught up on sleep w/ 8hrs/night. Only thing that could improve is the mattress of the single room. It's a bit run down and can feel the wood below, but it's not that bad. Still slept fine.

Very great hostel to stay at for a few days. It has everything you need and even though it's not near the Eiffel Tower of Louvre it's in a great location. Easy access to the Metro to get just about anywhere. It had excellent wifi and great free breakfast. I spent 2 nights there and only had 1 full day in Paris. I walked a huge loop visiting all the major sites in a day. Basillica - Moulin Rouge - Arc de Triomphe - E. Tower - Louvre - Notre Dame. Left at 10am back at 6pm in time for happy hour!!!
Thanks for your visit and for your nice review!!! I am happy to see you like Vintage Hostel and its facilities, is really that we are well located in the center of Paris, near the metro and the nice sacre coeur and moulin rouge. Hope to welcome you back soon i Vintage Hostel Lida Manager

First day I was there WiFi was not working for like anyone, but next day worked off and on. It's in a great location and it's a great place to meet other people. If you are on a budget instead of doing the expensive pub crawl go to the two cheap bars near the hostel. They have all types of drinks for a euro or 2 and have great atmosphere. One is two blocks to the left in front of the church and the other is 2-3 blocks to the right in front of the lil square. Ask them they know!

Just a normal... regular hostel. Nothing unique about it. Sadly felt like the dorms really weren't clean good enough and the showers should be cleaned more than once a days. As for location it's not in a good location at all. It's a 35 minute walk from the central train station and like a 20min walk to the old town. The wifi is good just annoying having to log into it all the time.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in in Europe. Everything is actually excellent. I love the common area and all the movie choices they have. This is one of those hostels where if you need a break from "travel" you can. Perfect place to spend a day doing nothing. Oh & the staff is awesome and very helpful. Plus if you leave at night you can store your luggage for free.

The hostel is a good hostel... but sadly felt like it had no atmosphere at all. The common area is all the way in the basement and well you really dont go down there unless you are going to cook or eat. The other thing was the dorm was very hot at night even with the window open... they need fans. Also the one shower on the 2nd floor smelled often. I guess cus no air circulation. It's a cheap hostel in a good location goof for a night or two.

This is more like a hotel than a hostel. It has no Atmosphere and feels blah. I do like that they don't charge you extra for sheets and a towel, but the price is expensive anyway. I had so many problems with the WiFi... only really worked in front of the reception area. Honestly for Helsinki a night is good enough anyway. Found the city a bit boring too.

Don't understand how or why sheets are not included in the prices in Scandinavia. It's insane to have to pay for a bed and then on top of that for sheets too. I mean seriously who travels with sheets? Anyway... aside from that it's just your normal European hostel... nothing special, but it's clean and good wifi.
Hi Jaime, the thing is that you CAN bring your own sheets and this is a way to keep prices down, and yes, it is very common in Sweden and Scandinavia. We write about this at our web site and booking site. Also when we send a separate confirmation letter, so it's not really a suprise... but a way to lower your cost.

Was a great hostel. Has everything you need. The beds do make a bit of noise when you move around but other than that no complaints at all. It's a good place to stay for a few nights. Oh I didn't like that I had to pay extra for sheets. I've never had to pay for sheets at any hostel I've ever stayed at.

Hostel is nice in an amazing location. The breakfast is also good. Only down side is the wifi is spotty with certain sites not working. Also I did not like the fact that you arrive early you have to PAY to use a locker to store your stuff before checking in. I had never been to a hostel that charges for that service. Also in the 14 bed dorm I stayed in it only had 2 outlets in the entire room. Was impossible to leave electronics charging over night. The entire room was frustrated about that.
Hi there, thank you for your review. Great you enjoyed our breakfast, always good to start the day with a free meal ;)We are sorry you didn't enjoy certain aspects of our facilities, we are currently renovating with plugs and lights being installed on each bed. Great clean hostel in a great location. The pool is small but oh so perfect to get away from the Cartagena heat. The 12 bed dorm is spacious and having AC is a plus. Only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. Was too simple compared to other free breakfast you get in other hostels. Other than that loved everything about this hostel.

Only thing that would make this hostel better is having a pool for the heat. Seriously this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in Colombia. It is perfect. The breakfast is great, the dorms are great, the wifi is great, the lounge area is great, the location is great and the staff is beyond amazing. They let me leave my big bag there while I went to Playa Blanca for 2 days. The neighborhood it's located in was my fav in Cartagena w/ tons of street art and cheap street food.

It is a great clean hostel with great wifi, great staff and a great atmosphere, but sadly thats it. Its one of those very expensive resort hostels. Everything is overpriced compared to what you pay on the street or other restaurants down the street or other hostels in Colombia. On the way to the mall you will find cheap places to eat and have a beer. As for the location it is great if you want to use it as a base to visit the park, but other than that it's horrible and far from everything.

I understand this is a party hostel & that is okay. What is not okay is the hostel staff getting everyone so drunk they don't know what they're doing. One night 2 people got it on in my dorm very loud & the girl didn't even know who she was. Later the guy managed to use the bathroom on me, my bed, my clothes & all over the dorm. Another night a guy was throwing up off his top bunk. They get people drunk to just keep spending money, it's not cool. Oh & the free breakfast and WiFi are horrible.

This is 100% a party hostel... nothing more than that. It's overpriced and all they care about is making sure you get wasted at the bar every night. I thought it was overpriced for how cheap Bolivia is. If you want peace and quite you need to book the 4 bed dorm because it's very far away from the bar. The WiFi is horrible, but of course we are in Bolivia. It is a clean hostel so that's good. Also across the street is a great restaurant Cafe Vintage with great food & great WiFi... just FYI.

I stayed here on a weekend and both Fri & Sat they had blaring music until I have no clue what time. The hostel is turned into a huge night club literally. I didn't like that people can come and go through out the entire hostel without really knowing if they are staying there or not. You have no clue who is a guest of the bar or hostel. I did like that it is very very clean and it's in a great location. They could buy toilet paper holders for the tp though. The 5 bed dorm is amazing!!!
Thank you very much for your comment and we are very happy that you liked the dorm, location and cleaness. Yes, especially Friday and sometimes Saturday we have big parties and loud music until around 1 o`clock. A lot of outside people come to celebrate with us however non guests are really not allowed to enter the hostel area, only where the restaurant and bar is. In such events we have security personal and we watch carefully that nobody enters, only guests with the wristband can enter.

If you are coming to Santa Cruz you must stay here! The hostel is immaculate and so clean, you get an amazing free breakfast, the rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly, it's in a great location, the WiFi works great, they have a great happy hour. It's crazy how clean this hostel is. It's a great hostel to spend a day or two just resting and relaxing too. I do wish the dorms had hooks to hang our towels, but not a deal breaker. Seriously my 4 nights here were perfect.

Hands down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. If you visit Iguazu STAY HERE. The staff is amazing, the beds are so comfortable, the WiFi is great, the entire hostel is very spacious with lots of places to hang out, the breakfast is so good (scrambled eggs). I can honestly go on. I was also sick my first few days here and the staff was always checking on me and making sure I didn't need anything. I spent a week here and felt at home every day. Great place to just chill & relax.

Great hostel in a great location & very clean. Everything was great but felt like the staff could be a bit less serious and interact with the guest more. Towels I understand but blankets?

I stayed here 5 nights and even though 3 of them we didn't have WiFi i must give this hostel a 100%. Yes this hostel is amazing. It is so clean, it is in a great location, the breakfast is great and the staff is amazing. I did think the per Kilo restaurant that is part of the establishment is a bit expensive, but it's good too. If you can book here do it. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm and it was just fine. You are out all day hiking and at the beach anyway!

Stayed here quite a few days & it was nice. The location is great, the staff is beyond amazing (everyone is so nice and always willing to help), the security is great (wish they didnt use wristbands though). The only bad thing is the restrooms in the dorms get dirty fast and are only cleaned once a day unless you ask them to clean it. The dorms also need HOOKS to hang things. The kitchen for the guest is horrible; it barely has what you need to cook a meal & what is there looks old.

The only good thing about the location is that it is 3 blocks from a metro station, but not one of the going out neighborhoods everyone recommends. The hostel is clean, the WiFi is amazing when it's working but sometimes goes down, but does work in the dorms. All in all it's a good hostel.

No complaints... actually a very great hostel. I spent 4 nights here & enjoyed my stay a lot. Everything is clean, the wifi works all over the hostel, the breakfast is great too, the beds are comfy, & the staff is nice and always willing to help you if you have any questions. Loved everything about this hostel. The location is great, staff is amazing, beds are comfy, wifi works great, breakfast is nice, facilities are also nice & clean. My favorite part is the outdoor patio in the middle of the hostel with tables set up and a mini bar that is open every night with music playing. Great hostel to meet people and enjoy and relax in after a long day exploring MVD. It's also very LGBT friendly with a gay club down the street, Chains (Good on Fri. even better on Sat.).

It's a very basic hostel, has everything you need and that's it. It's very relaxed and laid back. The staff is great. The WiFi works well in the dorm rooms but not really anywhere else (strange). The bathroom/shower floors could use a deep scrub & be cleaned more often. Breakfast is bread and cereal, no juice. Love that the AC can be used any time you are in the room. That was a huge plus. The lockers are also great and dorms are spacious.

Once again one of the best hostels I have stayed at. It's clean, has great WiFi, the staff is amazing and helpful, in a great location and it's very spacious. The breakfast is very good & love that it starts at 6:30am so even when you leave early for the hike you have your breakfast. It's a great hostel to base yourself while preparing for the W, O or Q hike in Torres & they even rent out lockers for the stuff you're not gonna take with you while you're gone. The hostel is very basic, but very clean. It's literally across the street from the bus station but far from the rest of the town. The hostel itself is just perfect. It's very clean and in a perfect location with hammocks and tables around everywhere to hang out. A great hostel to meet people. It's also in a good location near the Metro, but also walking distance from the main areas you will visit in Santiago. The WiFi works great too in the hostel and by the pool.

I stayed at this hostel 3yrs ago & stayed again during this visit & it still just as amazing. The hostel is very clean and even though it's a party hostel now it's quite enough to sleep if you don't want to party on the rooftop. It's in a great location near the collectivos for you to take days trips on your own. It is also a few blocks from the amazing beach PlayaCar. I do wish the beer was cheaper at the amazing roof top bar. It's a bit pricey for backpackers. Oh & the AC is amazing at night.

The hostel is in a great location, was very secure and the staff were amazing. I stayed here a few nights because I didn't feel like changing hostels during my stay. The thing is I probably wouldn't stay again. The rooms get very stuffy and humid during the day. I did not like the mattresses they are like big plastic mats and not very comfortable. The other thing was the WiFi my entire time there it was always hit & miss & very annoying. The food was just good. It's a decent hostel not the best.

The hostel was great. It's very basic but has everything you need & is in a great location. The only problem was that for all the dorms and most gues bedrooms it only had one working toilet while I was there and it was a huge problem. Other than that it's great!

The hostel was great, but it had spotty WiFi. I did like that the WiFi did reach the dorm room though. I also felt that the toilets were not the best... they are seriously tiny & uncomfortable to use at times. The staff is amazing though & always willing to help you out. If you are in GDL for two days I recommend staying in one near the center of the city instead of this one. It's also in the city but a good walk away from the city center.
Thanks for the helpfull comments. We recommend you that next time stay at our other branch at downtown if what you are looking for is to be near the historical centre. Hope to see you again soon. HI Hostel – Guadalajara Chapultepec/ General Manager

I liked the hostel very much... it is a very clean hostel and in a great location. The few things I didn't like is that the dorms do NOT have lockers and the hostel is freezing cold at night. I'd stay here again for sure... just wish they would take care of those two things!

I have come back to this hostel twice because honestly it offers everything a backpacker needs while he is on the road. When something is wrong they are more then happy to help you to make it right. They are also very nice and willing to help you book any transportation needs around Turkey... that are not part of TOUR groups. It is also in one of the best locations in Istanbul. Everything is near by and walking distance.
