Good location but it is a pretty basic hostel. There is not much atmosphere as it is a very big hostel with not much room for socialising

Only stayed for one night, but the staff where great and the private room was basic but clean and looked nice. It is about a 15min to the main centre but there is a supermarket near.
Good hostel, but people dont generally stay here for a long time, they use it to get to other cities so the atmosphere is lacking. The hostel is close to banks, shops, restaurants and a massive shopping mall, but is a long way from downtown, but close to the airport and bus terminal. Staff have good knowledge of the Galapagos
Its a pretty average hostel. It has a good location, is cheap but its a bit run down and depending on who is working the staff can be great or very disinterested.
This is a pretty in personal hostel and can be difficult to meet people. The kitchen is far to small for the size of the hostel and the outdoor common area is outside all the bedrooms so can me noise at night. Very good location
This is a chilled out hostel where you laze away at the pool, beach or bar. Not many shops around but some good restaurants, but you come be to relax not be in a busy place
On site resturant and bar a great, if a little pricey. Always something going on. Not in a great location as taxis are need to the beach and city, but you have a huge shopping mall close by.
The dorms are very cramped (triple bunks) and have tiny en-suite bathrooms. The pool up top is great and you get breakfast. Only a short walk from the beach. I found the staff to be no existant and the please a little dirty. But still a decent hostel for a few nights stay
Great hostel. Its small but very social. Close to the beach and shops but not close to the old centre. Free cocktail at night was also great.
This hostel is a little away from the town, but only 5min from a great beach. This is why i came here so I was very happy. There is a great pool, but I found it a little odd sharing the kicthen and living room space with the family that own the hostel.
Stayed here during carnival and had a great time. The staff are some of the best I have come across in south america and the hostel is amazingly clean
I stayed here for Carnival and beacuse it is the only hostel in town we had a great time here. The staff are brilliant!
This hostel is and oasis in the crazy city, Thomas the owner is great and will help you out with any thing. The pool is much needed in the middle of the day. Breakfast is not the best.
I loved this hostel. It is out of town. but thats why i liked the location. Its in the middle of trees and a short trip to the beach. You can but great meals here that are cooke by Rey Limon. Has a great feel this place. There is no lockers, but reception can look after passports etc
Its out of town and the direction for it are poor. It is near the best beach tho and has a great bar and pool. But if you want to be in the toen centre look at other places
The hostel feels very cramped and is grubby. Its in a good loaction and has a bar (the music goes on late) There are better options to stay at (ukulele would be my tip)
Basic Hostel but did the trick for a few nights stay
This is a big run hostel, that shares 3 floors with 2 other hostels, but they are all linked are share facilities with each other. The roof top is great to chill out on. I had a guide booke stolen from my bed, and talking to other people there food being stolen from the fridge seems to be a pretty regular thing. The brekfasts are really good, and from seeing other hostel in BA this is a pretty good place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay here for a few days. The hostel ticks all the boxes and the staff are great. Good breakfast. Showers werent very good as there was almostr 0 pressure.
I enjoyed staying at this hostel, and had great atmosphere ( this was during nye) The staff were brilliant and really helpful. But this is a basic hostel and a little away from the more touristy end of town and the rooms are a little cramped The place was always clean and even had some nice touches like hair dryers. Right opposite from the bus station. Dont be put off by what it looks like on the outside!
We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. It is a little walk from the town, but a good place to stay. Kitchen area is very good, but was a shame that there was no lounge area, apart from that offered in the reception area.
Wifi was very poor. But all in all a good hostel and great staff. Underfloor heating has the tendancy to melt any chocolate on the floor.
Great showers for after the W trek. Big kitchen, good laundry and Omah who runs the place is a great bloke who will help you out.
Nice big garden to chill in. The owner was negtaive about our plans and wasnt helpful during our stay. (about doing the navimag and our future destinations) All the signs and advice in the hostel were written and given in Hebrew and Spanish, which is helpful if you speak those languages, But left us feeling a little left out while staying here.
You get given locks for the lockers in the room, and i found out that mine open 2 other peoples lockers. The staff werent great here and will charge for using the facilities after check out.Big comfy beds.

We played cricket here on the same wicket that the Chile national team uses (its still pretty poor) but a fun hostel. We found the staff to be over worked and short staffed, which resulted in pretty poor serivce.
Great Staff at this hostel, who love to hang out and chat with you when you are staying here. Every thing was very good, only slight thing was there was no AC and when we were there it was very hot in the dorm. Would stay here again in a heart beat!
Really good hostel. Its a short walk from the centre but its only 10mins. Staff were nice, the facilities and cleanliness were first class. Would stay here again.
Really nice hostel the highlight was the owner Jenny who couldn't do enough to help it may be lacking slightly in facilities and maybe a bit of a trek to the town but this is a lovely hostal which represents good value for money and has a good atmosphere with a warm homely feeling.
Average hostel with good staff the toilets were discusting. Three toilets and two sinks for a hostel with a capacity of over one hundred isn't enough. It was noted however that some were being renovated.
This hostel is the best we have stayed at in South America.if you are looking for a hostel to stay at whilst going to language school, this is perfect.During the week you can go to the Sucre language school which is linked to the hostel and do the free activities that are provided which include salsa lessons, volleyball and cooking classes. The weekends offer an opportunity to attend the events the hostel put on and party in sucre. The hostel is a few months old and is improving all the time.
Really nice hostel the owners couldn't do enough for you. Within the context of its setting you couldn't ask for more.
Decent hostel, good facilities the music in the communal areas was appalling I haven't come all the way to south America to listen to 80s UK pop. Pub quiz was interesting with numerous incorrect answers. Also watch out for the laundry weigh your gear first otherwise you may get ripped off like us.
Great hostel with heaps of character. It has a really nice chilled out feeling which is helped by having some great staff working there.
Nice location (a little to far from Scaffell Pike if you are planning on climbing) This is a family hostel and there is an 11:30pm curfew, which means if you want to go out for a few drinks or even a meal, make sure you do it early so that you are back.
Very good Hostel. There was a lot of families etc there which means its not a party hostel. But a very fun place with a lot of character
