Was a really clean hostel, though they provided lockers downstairs, there were none upstairs. The wifi was also a bit touch and go. It was in a good location (close to china town and the entertainment district, and there was a liquor shop up the street). The staff were helpful, but sometimes a little over enthusiastic, haha. It had a good balcony to chill at during the day or night, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were also 2 TVs on the ground floor that was also pretty much 24/7

Cambie Hostel - Gastown

The hostel was homey and there wern't many bad things; some floorboards were uneven and the stairwell smelt a bit stale, but all of these aspects contributed to the pub-like atmosphere of the hostel. The bar on the first floor did play music late on some nights of the week, and the wifi was a bit touch and go. It was located in a great area of town - good for exploring downtown sights from, and they provided lockers (but no locks) in our room. The homeless weren't too much of a problem either.
