This was a very nice hostel to stay in while I was in El Calafate. Friendly staff, great free breakfast, and nice common area.

This hostel is very large, but it was adequate for what I needed, which was a clean, basic hostel near the main train station of Rome.

This was my favorite hostel in Thailand. It's relaxing, near the beach, and the common area encourages socializing. One issue: I paid for a ride from the hostel for a 8:00 ferry. The ride was supposed to arrive at 7:30. By 7:45 nobody arrived. I asked the woman at reception multiple times to confirm I would get to the boat, and she said "don't worry." Without helping, she said "Get the next boat at 1:00." I panicked since I had a flight. I paid for another taxi and made the ferry by a minute.

This is a nice, quiet relaxed place to stay. The property has abundant wildlife, especially birds. The staff were really friendly. The food is overpriced and there's no kitchen to cook yourself. The nature trail is beautiful, but at the end it isn't marked very well and I got lost for 15 minutes trying to find the village. I would stay again.

This is a decent hostel in a good location in Bocas del Toro town on the main island. However, it's a party hostel, and obviously that's not for everyone. If you want to party, this is a good hostel. I don't recommend taking the hostel's water taxi to Bastimentos Island. It's cheaper to find a water taxi elsewhere.

They advertised free internet, and then when you get to the hostel they tell you, "Internet is only free for limited hours in the middle of the day when you won't be at the hostel anyway. If you want to use internet at other times it will cost you a fortune." Very dishonest.

The location is excellent, right next to the subway station where both lines intersect. The staff were very helpful. There weren't any storage lockers in the room, and the hostel doesn't have the best atmosphere for socializing.

The location, security, and staff are great, but the common room isn't the best to meet others when you're a solo traveler.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It has a good location in Sarajevo with good facilities, and it's easy to meet people. The staff were also friendly.

Do you like Game of Thrones? Because this hostel feels like being in a dungeon. You are underground and there are no windows and it's dreary and dimly lit. There is a badly stocked kitchen and a common room that consists of a table, but no other furniture. However, the location is great, right next to the Pile gate to the old city and bus stop to the main bus station. Dubrovnik in general is very overpriced. I would suggest staying outside the city and doing a day trip to Dubrovnik.

The hostel is in a good location and secure, but the common rooms were very dark with uncomfortable furniture and was generally hard to meet other travelers.

Tirana isn't the most interesting place, but at least there is a good, vibrant hostel there.

The location of this hostel is 4 km from the Entrance 2 of the national park. This is walkable, but it is better to arrange with Leo for a pick up at the entrance. Leo is a great guy and very passionate about helping guests have a pleasant stay. The hostel itself is in a more rural area and the surrounding landscape is beautiful and very relaxing. Leo organizes free rides to the supermarket for guests as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay here. My only complaint is the slow wifi.

The location of this hostel was good for me, as it is close to the bus terminal, and I arrived late evening. The staff are quite friendly and the layout of the hostel invites guests to socialize and easily meet other travelers. This was more of a party hostel, and I mention this since some travelers seek that out while others would prefer more quiet alternatives. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
Thnaks for staying with us J and your review. We certainly do like to have a great time here and get guests involved. We're glad you enjoyed your time here. All the best, CRACKER!

This was a very nice hostel to stay in. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was inviting and cozy, and it was very clean. There is a bus stop immediately next to the hostel and it comes frequently, so even though it isn't near a lot of attractions, it is easy to get there and to get to other parts of the island. To my knowledge, this is the least expensive place to stay on the island, including the campground, where I stayed for one night before changing to the hostel.

If you don't want to meet other travellers, stay here. The common rooms are awkward and don't lend themselves to a very social place.

Staff friendly but inept. Kitchen was disgusting, due to staff, not guests. The hostel make dinner for a fee for guests, and cook it in the kitchen. I opted not to pay for the dinner and cook myself. I figured I could cook afterwards, but staff did not clean up after themselves and left the sink, counter, and table completely full of dirty dishes for hours following using them. In a separate event, I needed something from the staff, but had to remind them 5 times before I got it. Location good.

The location is great, the staff are good, but the atmosphere is otherwise mediocre at best. There isn't a good common area to meet people and security isn't good.

The hostel lacks a decent common area. They have space, but it's not a good atmosphere to meet other travelers. Too expensive for what you get. Even in Switzerland. Facilities are modern and the location is decent though.

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel. The atmosphere is very relaxing and there is a good common area and backyard. It is close to the grocery store and only five minutes from the old town and 10 minutes to the train station on foot. I would stay here again. The security could be better though.

James and other staff made me feel really welcome. The hostel had a cheerful atmosphere the night I stayed here. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to downtown. Overall a nice place and definitely much better than Pineapple Park.

The staff were friendly and the location was very centralized. Easy walk to Farmer's Market and shops and restaurants. If you have a rental car, do not park in the parking lot next to the hostel. The first night I was in Hilo, all of the rental cars (recognized by barcodes) had their tires slashed during the night. My car was ok because I parked a few blocks away. But this is not the hostel's fault. I would stay here again if I go back to Hilo.

The owner (Annie) is extremely unpleasant and grouchy. She treats guests like they are vermon and wants nothing to do with them. I stayed here for one night before moving to the KOA Hale Hostel which had much much more friendlier staff. Also, this hostel is far from everything. The exception is that it is walkable to the trail that goes to the Captain Cook Monument. The guests were nice and facilities anverage, but the owner made the experience one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed.

Nice hostel, nice atmosphere. Only complaint is that the directions they give you from the Metro station to the hostel are wrong. You turn right out of the station, not left, to walk to the hostel

An overall nice hostel in a good location in Mexico City. I don't recommend doing some of the tours though. The Teotihucan tour, for example, is much cheaper just to take the public bus there than to do the tour.

The location, staff, security and cleanliness is good, but there is a lack of common area. It is harder to meet other people in the hostel compared to other hostels.
We are sorry to hear this. We have a very fun terrace with awesome views of the Cathedral and Zocalo, where you can actually bring you own drinks (usually lots of travelers there) . Not to metion the TV room, computers room, the kitchen, the rooftop bar plus the restaurant downstairs.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere and location were good. The only thing I disliked was that much of the common area is more outside, which can be an issue at night since it gets cold.

The location is not the best and security is not great. Stay at the Weary Traveller closer to the bus station. It's much nicer.
Hey thanks for the review nice hanging out with you. happy new years! hope to see you again.

A nice enough hostel with friendly staff, but terrible security. The rooms were often left wide open (which also let in mosquitos), and there are storage lockers, but they are very small. Still, much better than La casa de sol (where i stayed the next night), and not as good as The Weary Traveler (where i also stayed two nights in Tulum. Still, nice atmosphere. The wifi wouldnt work in the dorm well though.
