This is a bad hotel, and a terrible hostel. The location wasn't only pretty away from most Los Angeles attractions (like most places in LA), but it also was pretty ugly and insecure. The atmosphere is null, and the bathrooms are really dirty for such an expensive hotel.

One of the best hostels I stayed in! It's less than 100m from an U-bahn station and about 500m from the Zoological Garden (the central area in West Berlin). It also has a great athmosphere, and the whole place is really clean. The free computers were nice even though they sometimes were pretty slow. The staff was the frosting on the cake. They always went the extra mile to be helpful, and gave lots of tips on where to go and what to do on Berlin. The hostel even has free towels!

Absolutely unbeatable location. The hostel's not only close to the Old City, you actually have to cross the medieval Charles Bridge every day to get there! The only downside I found is that breakfast's a bit expensive.

I didn't find the place hard to find at all, like other reviewers claimed.

This place is great! The location's at walking distance from the metro, in one of the few areas in Paris where you can buy things and not get destroyed by the prices. The hostel is managed by an elderly korean lady who also cooks a great breakfast and even gives you free lunch!

St Christopher's at The Winston

This is a perfect place if you like party hostels and don't mind not being able to sleep before 2am, but it still isn't a bad spot if you aren't the party type. The location was centric - TOO centric. Forget being able to eat, at reasonable prices or meet locals anywhere near the hostel.

Too right! Amsterdam is a very expensive city unfortunately : ( Hope you used your security card to get your 25% discount off our menu at least

Don't be afraid of the location because it seems a bit far away from the center: it's in a really nice area near the two biggest museums in Amsterdam, and the whole city is really walkable/cycleable.

Dmitrovka Hostel

The staff is rude and unfelpful, the beds extremely uncorfortable, the common rooms are very small, and the whole place is horribly packed. Come to this hostel if you want to know what living in an apartment in Moscow was like during the 50s, or if you like socializing with 50 year olds with snoring problems. We also got money we left in the lockers stolen, probably by the staff.

The hostel's pretty far away from the city, so you will have to walk about 750 metres and take a tram to get anywhere.

The New York Loft Hostel

This Hostel is great - all you can expect from one. Its in the heart of Brooklyn, but 20 minutes from Manhattan,, the building is great, and specially, the people are great. Even the staff joins you in parties; even the security guide is probably the coolest guy in the world. The rooms are really clean and secure, and the Wireless Internet is flawless. The only possible downside is that it's uncommon to get hot water during showers, but besides of that detail the Hostel is perfect.
