Good: not far from Farrah Park MRT station which made it easy to get around. Staff were extremely friendly, particularly the young guy who walked me halfway to the station in preparation for haing to do it in the dark the following morning so that I wouldn't get lost. Bedrooms very clean and power sockets by the bed. Not so good: Bit noisy from the street. Bathroom a bit mouldy. No soap or towels provided. Room was very empty and thonly girls weren't english speaking, so tricky to make friends.

Had a great time a this hostel-was really easy to meet people in the common room and the capsules are quirky and fun! Felt secure as even though u only have a locker for your valuables and no key to get in and out of the building, the helpful guys in reception keep a close eye on who comes in and out so sure there'd be no undesirables getting In. Also its just a a few meters away from a3 exit of akebonobashi station which is a short subway ride to Shinjuku so location was perfect.

Loved how traditional it was here with the futon beds and tatami flooring. Only downside was how thin the walls of the dorm were- I could hear everything going on in the rooms either side. But it was fine as I had earplugs for when I slept (which I would recommend for others staying here!)
