If you don't want to stay in Venice itself this place is a great alternative. Right next to the train/bus station. The hostel just opened so everything is modern and in great condition. Beds are comfy and stable, so not the one you often get in hostels that squeak with every move you make. Toilette/Shower en suit in every room is also great. The only real minus was the missing soap at the washbasin.
Thank you for this review and for the positive feedback. We have recently opened and are working on special events like concerts, happy hour and more to give a kick to our ambience and atmosphere!

This hostel offers basically everything you might need. Which makes it kind of "too perfect" for a hostel feeling. The sabbat dinner was a hughe dissapointment. The event felt really "soulless", the stuff cared about providing everybody with their one (or maximal two) plate of food at the buffet and then cleaning up as soons as possible. Also the food was mexican, if I book a special dinner in a hostel I'll always expect local food. If I want mexican food I do not need to go to Jerusalem.

A great hostel with an amazing owner. He does everything on his own but is till always friendly, helpful and prepares a very good breakfast in the morning. And the breakfast starts so early you don't need to rush and are still easily able to get the early bus to Torres del Paine.

The hostel is not very central but easily reachable from the bus station. But it is located in it own idyllic and quite garden. The staff is friendly and helpfull. We booked some tours via the hostel and these were also very good with excellent guides. We were there on new years eve and had an amazing BBQ to celebrate the new year.

The hostel is not to close to the city center (which isn't that interesting anyways) but close to the bus terminal and the beach. It's run by an elderly guy who is very nice and super helpful. You also get a nice breakfast in the morning. The common area doesn't look ike a normal hostel room but more like a big cosy iving room.

The hostel is situated in a nice spot in the old town, but to the city center you have to walk ~20 Minutes The rooms are nothing special but totally OK, comfy beds, clean and a separate shower for each room What makes this place great is the staff. They are super friendly and very helpful trying to answer every question If you're happy enough and Dora (the owners mother) is around she might cook lunch/dinner. If so try it! Cheap but great. Also try the tasty (but cheap as well) homemade wine

The hostel is nothing special but fulfils the basic needs. I got a pre made bed and clean showers and toilet. The breakfast is very plain ( untoasted toast-bread with jam and peanut butter and unlimited coffee/tea). The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is very load but with earplugs I had a good sleep. I stayed there over new years and the prices were immoral high (you could at least changed the check out time for that day). I checked the normal prices and they are OK.

The best thing of this hostel is, that it is very close to Gare de Lyon. or one night if you need to catch a train it's not to bad. Staff was unmotivated: no friendly words, no help. Toilets on the floor had no washbasins, the room had but without soap. Also no mirror or locker in the room. The included breakfast was the worst I ever paid for. It consists just out of overall three choices from a coffee machine (which was not to bad) and a vending machine with packed croissants (not good at all)
