Abi and Charlie made a lovely, homely place to stay. They go to extremes to provide everything you might need or want during your stay (extraordinary breakfast (never shortage of anything), evenings with free cake or something like that, nice tv room with lots of dvd's and wii, free wifi all through the building). Would definitely stay here again!

The location is really perfect, only about 10 minutes from Oxford street. It's not that clean anymore as it used to be. Also, we used the expensive wifi option for the first time, only to hear after the payment that we can only use it in the basement (Kitchen area) and ground floor (near reception), in the rooms there is no reception. Even in the basement you had to sit close to the door for reception of wifi. Showers are not adjustable, so tricky to use for some lengths.

Leuven City Hostel

Positive: breakfast and free coffee, tea etc., looks nice and new (recently renovated). Negative: not 24hr reception (only reception for a short period of time, which means there is no supervision and can get noisy at night/in the morning/evening), little service (you have to make your own bed, find your way in the kitchen and building etc.). The front door was difficult to open and we're doubtful about the safety with the securitycodes.

Pisa Tower

THIS REVIEW IS FOR HELVETIA PISA TOWER HOSTEL. We received an email about the change of hostel from Pisa Tower Hostel one month in advance, but the place was great, very close to the tower of pisa, room nice and good tips for eating out (especially the recommendation for icecream ;)). They were very nice and helpful. It was terrific to be brought with the shuttle to the airport. Make sure you have a map, or get one at the tourist information, when you're coming from the railway station.

Terrific view from the roof terrace and our room. The room was perfect. Only Corniglia is not a great starting point to visit the rest of Cinque Terre (too many stairs ;)). When travelling by train ALWAYS VALIDATE YOUR TICKET in the yellow ticketmachines, even when there's already a date on it (otherwise you'll get a fine).

The location was absolutely perfect. Right in the city centre and most tourist attractions within walking distance. The staff was also extremely helpful, they baked pancakes every morning and when the printer didn't work they did kept trying till the problem was solved. I'd recommend this hostel to everyone!

Perfect location, great guest kitchen, and friendly staff! It's not the cheapest of hostels, but our favourite in London (and I've been to London for over 20 times now, stopped counting :S)

Bath YMCA

The only drawback was the big group (Italian/Spanish teenagers for a summercours English we think..., but we had our laughs too ;)) and the mattrasses should really be replaced... (they were already bad 5 years ago). However the rest of the place is so great that we keep forgetting this fact :P(and are so tired that we sleep no matter what!) They offer dinners, but you can also heat your own microwave dinners in the microwave available after opening hours.

A very nice hostel, excellent location to go out and in the same time very close to the city centre. Not a short walk from the train station though.

Location is perfect and the staff is friendly and helpfull. But don't be there on the 1st and 2nd of May unless you come especially for the festivities (most of the shops and museums are closed). We highly recommend the bar underneath on the corner (cheap and tasteful)! There's wireless internet, so you can bring your laptop.

The only negative point of this hostel is the noise at night, but apart from that the location is superb and the breakfast is good. We had our separate room with our group of three, so no inconveniences with the key!

Our room was reasonable: small, but ok. It wasn't very clean though and the facilities were poor. The location is very central and perfect for going out, but if you want to go to bed early you'll be better off somewhere else.

Isaacs Hostel

Our room was quite big and the facilities were in general reasonable. The breakfast (a blueberry muffin and instant coffee or tea) wasn't great however and the showers were too hot to use. The top floor could have used some female facilities, or at least a change of signs

Big hostel, possible to dine, great location and you receive a couple of minutes free internet acces and a free drink at check-in. The best improvement they made in the last couple of years is the bathroom ensuite instead of sharing.

The hostel is very close to the station and the city centre. Breakfast is fantastic and the room was large with comfortable beds. It looks more like a good hotel than a hostel.

The hostel is a perfect place to stay, since you're right in the centre and it's very comfortable. We've tried many hostels in London, and this one is the best so far.

Cinque Terre Holidays

First of all, cinque terre area is really breath taking. The hostel however, wasn't as expected. When they ask you whether you want a central room or a view, consider: a 15 minutes walk for a view means 15 minutes of climbing steep and narrow stairs (suitcases impossible, we barely fitted with our backpacks) and there were only french doors with a bathroom lock on the door. Really quiet though and magnificent view. Ps, townpeople are not friendly (arguing is pointless).
