Hostel One Home

Prague, Czech Republic

Hands down one of my favorite hostels ever (of around 50 so far), David and Nano are some welcoming, always trying to feed you/get you drinks (and give you free dinner daily). They take you out, it's super close to the city center and main train station, is clean and just awesome. Met amazing people, had good food, clean shower, was able to chill and party and enjoy Prague. Highly highly recommend.

Vienna, Austria

This hostel is amazing, you are basically living in someone's apartment in Vienna, at least it feels that way. While the check-in is weird, and the entrance of the building is a bit off-putting, the place itself is awesome. Lilly has thought of absolutely everything you could need, all bathroom essentials, even a flat iron in the room and big lockers. The place is adorable, homey and attracts good people that hang out in the living room and get to know each other. Amazing shower as well!

Carpe Noctem Original

Budapest, Hungary

The staff are amazing - while it is a party hostel it is clean and quiet...didn't think that was possible! They organize activities every night, get you ridiculously cheap beer and show you where to eat. Hostel in a good location about 10 minutes walk from the Octagon, which was our reference point for everything. Hot water and clean showers a huge bonus.

Ca' Venezia

Venice, Italy

It's a bed in Venice, not too much else to ask for. No wi-fi when I was there, and about 2 minutes after arriving the power went out, I dont know how long for as I just left to wander the streets. Amran is very nice, very personable and helpful but this isn't the hostel to go to if you want to have a place to chill out, which you shouldn't be doing in Venice anyway. Reasonably easy to find, very close to San Marco square and take his pizza place recommendation, it was good.

Casa di Antonella

Siena, Italy

Great place, but not the best for solo travelers. You feel a bit isolated in this apartment, although Fabrizio was very welcoming and helpful. Good location, minutes away from the main street and square, and the best lasagne I've ever had - he will recommend an italian place on a steep street. Very clean, nice breakfast spread in the AM, good shower.

Great hostel, spacious room with ensuite bathroom. Met amazing people, nice comfy chill zone with bean bags to figure out where to go next. In between Termini (train station) and the Trevi Fountain - location seemed pretty excellent.

Circus Hostel

Berlin, Germany

Loved this place, very easy to meet people and they have a small but fun bar downstairs. Lot of thought went into the rooms, they have plugs and lockers right by your bed which is clutch. Good location, across from a train station and in a cool area to walk around. Cheap beer, decent breakfast, good for solo travelers.

PLUS Berlin

Berlin, Germany

Good hostel with a great location, just a few minutes away from the East Side Gallery.

EastSeven Berlin Hostel

Berlin, Germany

Great little place - really cheap beer from reception. Close to train station that will take you to Alexanderplatz, about a 10 minute commute. Rooms were nice, showers were clean.

Way Hostel

Madrid, Spain

Loved this hostel, great activities (pub crawl was fun with cool people from 3 hostels, walking tour with Pablo was amazing he's super knowledgeable and very entertaining). Showers have hot water and good pressure but they are very small, but I didn't mind the size.

Williamsburg HostL

New York, USA

I loved this hostel. I would absolutely stay here again, it is so cute, is in super hip Williamsburg (everyone is young and there are lots of bars and places to eat) and is only 1 stop from Manhattan.
