El Dorado International Hostel, San Gil, Colombia

The staff at El Dorado are just lovely and so helpful and the location is perfect. Very chilled out place to relax in between activities. The rooms are a little small and ours didn't have any windows (not sure if others did or not). Overall a good place to base yourself for a few days in San Gil

The location was great and staff really friendly. However, the place is very cramped. We had a double room which felt like it had been converted from a cupboard. The common area was small and kitchen sink overflowing with dirty dishes.

Andre was really friendly and helpful. Common areas great to meet people. We had a private room which was very spacious. Only complaint is about the shortage of cutlery, glasses and plates! Really simple to fix! Just buy more!

Great location with path down to the beach opposite the hostal. Communal kitchen not particularly well equipped if you're self catering. Helpful staff

The Feung Nakorn Balcony is a lovely spot, where you can get get away from the craziness of Bankok and unwind. Its in a great location close to the Palace, Khao San Road, Sleeping Buddha, flower market etc... Only complaint is the amount of commission they took for the train tickets we booked there - but guess I should have seen that coming and clarified before we booked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great roof terrace although underused. Rooms are functional and staff friendly. Great location, so close to the train station and really near other facilities too!
