This is one sweet hostel - nice kitchen and dining / outdoor patio areas to mingle with other travelers, awesome room quarters with private lounge area to chill - it's like your very own apartment :) It's in a good location too, not far from Mont Royal and the Old Port, Notre Dam Ave, Victoria Square, the Biodome. Staff were excellent and security was good. Thumbs up!

Nice relaxed hostel in a great location - close to the Byward Market, National Gallery of Canada, Parliament buildings, Rideau Canal - all the cool stuff in Ottawa! Right next to major bus lines and the Metro supermarket as well. The rooms are cosy and the living room and kitchen area have a nice homely feel to them. Overall a good place to chill and explore Ottawa from.

Nice little apartment turned into a hostel, perfect place to stay if your in New York for a quick visit. Location is great, staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic - a great place to stay if you are a solo traveler! Nice garden out back to chill and full access to net flix and cable TV on those days you don't want to go out. The kitchen however is very basic (no spatulas or cutting knives, chopping boards for cooking) and the gas stove very dodgy; it's best to go out for meals.

Beautiful hostel in a great location. Just 15 mins walk from down town Miami Beach, Miami Beach and well connected by buses to the city, South Beach etc. The facilities were top notch, almost hotel standard! Great pool, piano and breakfast. If you are looking to meet people however this is not the place! Most people are in large groups making it almost impossible to mix if you are a solo traveler like myself. A lot of the people staying there were also very young (15-18 yo).

Excellent hostel for meeting people! Great atmosphere and cool facilities (pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, pool table) at a super good price. Special thanks must go to Amanda for making me feel very welcome on my arrival :D Staff in general were always willing to help, take you out to places which was great. The rooms were comfortable with a tv and a sofa, fridge and lockers to store your valuables, and the location was good too being only 15 min walk to the shops, beach and eating places.

I have to come back to here and Portland in general! The place has such a good vibe. The hostel is in a great location, close to downtown, the river, places to eat, parks. The rooms are lovely and quiet, while the rest of the hostel has a great social atmosphere, a good place to meet other fellow travelers. It also has a fantastic beer garden out back which plays host to open mike nights and various hostel run events e.g. Movies on projector etc. The staff were great and the facilities top notch

Great hostel close to the city centre and water front. The place has a great kitchen and cooking facilities and some good areas to chill out (roof top and ground level patios, library room, tv room, games room with pool table). The atmosphere wasn't too bad although having a few more hostel run bbqs and keeping the roof patio open later wouldn't hurt. The rooms are cosy but could do with some air conditioning, especially during the summer months when it is warm and humid.

The hostel is in a good central location. It does not have cooking facilities however and lacks atmosphere most of the time. On leaving I left my cell phone at reception. Staff found it right away and put it in the lost and found for me to collect. When I came back to get it, it was gone...staff were the only ppl with access to the lost and found. The managers made little effort to help me find it. In short be careful with your valuables here, there is a thief amongst the staff, don't trust them

Probably the best hostel I have visited in all my travels across the globe. Excellent helpful staff, a great atmosphere for meeting new people (if you are a solo traveller this place is ideal), superb rooftop facilities and a cool bbq each week. Good downtown location, near the main shopping district in BA. The staff were good and helpful (Fernanda in particular), they offer good day tours of the city and facilities aren't too bad in the common areas (TV, pool, movie room etc, cheap beers and water at reception). Unfortunately I was attacked by bed bugs during my stay (the staff however did say they would have the room fumigated to kill the bugs) and a merino wool top was stolen when i put it in for washing. Overall though an ok hostel.

Not too bad a stay here. Location is pretty good, right in Temple Bar, the staff were friendly, security was ok and the kitchen good. On the downside, i turned up for breakfast at 9.30am and they had stopped serving, despite the fact it was supposed to be served from 7 - 10 am.
