The hostel is very new and clean. João the owner was very welcoming. He took us around the town and around the waterfalls, introducing us to many people. He and his family were very hospitable. It felt very much like a house stay rather than a hostel. If you are looking for a place to stay in Sana with a range of rooms and a chance to get to know the town and locals well, I would highly recommend staying here.

best hostel I've ever stayed in out of hundreds little touches make a big difference, super friendly and kind and softest beds in the world
Fantastic location, the most friendly, welcoming and helpful staff ever and a hostel with real character and great Tibetan feel.
very very shady, the sign for the hostel didnt even go up until i had checked in via another hostel in another part of the building. didn't feel safe staying here
at first shared a 'dorm' which was just a twin room with three beds with a rather crazy man who had taken to moving my things about, but after changing to a single room really enjoyed my stay. all staff are very friendly and easy to chat to, and the hostel has a fantastic location.
