First and foremost, Madame Eymard is the most adorable, sweetest hostess I have ever had the pleasure to meet. A first-class chef who deserves a Michelin star for sure. But putting that aside, The location is excellent, the room is tidy, her home is lovely. Opening it to people who want to know Bordeaux is actually a favour! You must go to her place when you visit Bordeaux. She knows everything about markets, sights to see, food to eat (eat her food), etc... One lovely lovely woman, will return!

Daniela was the best receptionist ever! Sweet, helpful and full of good advice... The hostel is very good in average, location-wise and design-wise, but lacks air conditioning and there are only 1 or 2 electric plugs in the rooms for 4 or 6 people...
The Hostel is in a close location to the city centre, around 2 km away. The staff was an absolute delight and Mathieu was simply fantastic. The facilities are all there, from free wi-fi, to a computer in the hall, breakfast in the morning and a bar that sells great wine! The beds are quite comfortable and the cleanliness is evident.
It was an extremely lovely Hostel, but the stay is completely atrocious. I could not sleep a wink, the beds were squeaking so loudly at any movement, it was completely unbearable.
