Loved the hostel decor and the neighborhood it was in. We got the five person private room, which was roomy and very nice. Sometimes you had up hunt for an open bathroom, but they were all clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, hostel was clean and lockers were free! Close to a metro stop, too. The breakfast selection was pretty slim, but it was there, free and didn't end at some ridiculously early time, so no real complaints! I would definitely recommend it.
Was more of a hotel/hostel combination than just a hostel, so there were a lot of older people and families. The dorm set up was kind of strange since there are openings in the wall, so someone on the top bunk can look into the next room over (no window there or anything). We were in the female dorm and the guys next door were talking loudly late at night AND early in the morning and we could hear it all. I would have given it an excellent for cleanliness if not for the smell (I don't know where it came from, just that it smelled pretty strongly in the hallway outside our dorm room the whole time). Other than that it was very clean, very vibrant, with free coffee in the mornings, free internet access, nice flat screen TVs in the lobby area, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and since Brussels is pretty small it was within pretty easy walking distance of everything.
