We were the only people staying at this riad and were basically treated like royalty. They offered us pick up from the bus station, gave us a guide for the first day in fes and recommended a very good restaurant to eat at. The free breakfast was one of the best I've had while traveling and Rashid catered to our every whim during our stay. The terrace was beautiful to eat on and the wifi was also quite strong which is always a bonus!

Riad Baraka

Great hotel all around. It's a little tucked into some streets so it's difficult to find the first time but after that it's very simple to get back to. Joe was a great host; very kind all around catering to any needs. The rooms were spotless and very nicely decorated and the shower was excellent. After we checked out and were sitting in the lobby biding our time to go to the bus station, the mother became a bit ill tempered with us out of the blue and we felt as though we were being shooed out.

This hostel was a little.. odd to say the least... When my girlfriend and I arrived, we were literally the ONLY ones staying in the building. It was a little creepy to say the least because the dormitory style rooms gave off an 'asylum' kind of feel. You won't find any character in these walls, although the staff are very helpful. The location was a little out of the way as well. Take bus number 40 if you want to get there and ask the bus driver for the stop once you're near the top of the hill.

PLUS Camping Roma

Really nice camping site. Hostelworld gave idiot proof directions getting there. The only issue we had was not knowing which bus stop to get off for the site. Look for a big red supermarket (Padova? Padoma? something like that) on the left side of the bus (if you're coming from Cornelia station) and it's just across the road. Having Wifi throughout the site was a bonus (albeit slow, but still a bonus). Rooms were very clean, and the restaurant on site was reasonably priced!

Camping Fusina

Venice, Italy

The camp site is really great once you are there. It's a little out of the way though. The bus schedule is a bit confusing with lots of room for error. Be sure to make note of which buses you need to take and where to get off. It isn't common for the bus drivers to speak English so be weary. There is a ferry that goes to and from fusina. The last one leaves from Venice to fusina at 6:30. There is a nice little pizzeria/bar at the campsite which is quite cheap and quick as well!

Best valued hostel/hotel I've ever stayed at. I've been staying in hostels with up to 10 people per room lately, so the superior 4 room was a dream come true when we arrived. My girlfriend and I ended up scoring the double bed which was wonderful.

Great location. You won't get more central than this hostel. 5-10 minute walk to Pimlico tube station and from there you can get anywhere.
