Sascha is a very helpful host. The place has a good location and a nice but not too loud atmosphere. Slight downside was the air con was broken while we were there but seemed like a one off. Would definitely stay here again

Great location, right next to where the airport buses drop you off. Adequate rooms, nothing special but certainly nothing to complain about. The best thing about the hostel is the bar with the little outside seating area. We were there for the England vs Italy rugby game and there was a great atmosphere, nothing intimidating - just fun. Its probably also one of the cheapest bars in Rome
Fairly central, very basic, no thrills
First impressions were poor due to the surrounding area but it was actually a good location - close to town. The included breakfast was also very good, as were the showers and other facilities. The only downside to this hostel was the lack of atmosphere, it is very much a YOUTH hostel, i.e the sort of place you go on a primary school trip. But overall it was okay, not great, not terrible.
Really nice hotel at a good price. We booked an elephant trek there which was really easy. Nice on site restaurant. Nothing nearby so no good for nightlife. The only down side is a tuk tuk is needed to get into town but it isnt very expensive and a good experience.
Good hotel, nothing exciting but spacious rooms with air con, its all that can be asked for.
Not quite as advertised but still perfectly adequate. I think it claimed to be the 6th best hostel in he world or something, but it isnt. The location was good, 2 mins from Petaling street and about 10 to petronas towers. The staff were very friendly and the showers were good! Also a good place to meet people.
A really good hostel for the money. The staff do everything they can to make you comfortable. Also a very good location, easy to get to from the airport following the instructions given. Air con was very nice. Definitely stay here!
This is a quiet hostel. Im sure there are more fun hostels in Cairns such as Gilligans etc but this is good if you want some peace. Its about a 10 minute walk to town and close to the supermarket at the central mall. They are useful to book trips through, especially to the great barrier reef. I would definately reccomend down under dive as the company to use. It was really good value for money and they staff were great.
I only stayed here one night before i went to Fraser Island. I wouldnt recommend it. I chose it as it was fairly cheap but overall it would have been better to pay a couple more dollars and stay near the transit center. While on Fraser i left my backpack in the storage area. When i returned after the trip all my bag was open. The security is terrible, anyone could walk in, and as proved, they did. My camera charger was the only thing missing, it could have been worse but still not happy.
Good hostel, sweet place to meet people and have a good night out in the Scary Canary. Offer good things to do, for example we had a day out on a party bus at the beach where we got free goon and bbq and played some games. Once again a good place to meet people.
This is a great place to stay before going to the island. Its more of a hotel than a hostel. The staff were very good, they make an effort to call you by name which is a nice touch. The dorms are very good, they have air con, which at times was too cold but a welcome relief from the heat. The food was also very good and reasonably priced, especially the beef stir fry. There isnt much to do around the hotel but its nice to just relax, its also easy to get into Nadi town.
This was a really good hostel. It had everything going for it, good location, nice staff, nice dorms. Top place to stay in Wanaka!
Good hostel, had a nice stay here. Pretty central in town. The lounge area was nice and comfortable, a good place to socialise. Pool table was also good.
Stayed here for two nights. No complaints besides the lack of air con/fan. The day we went it was hot and getting to sleep at night was very uncomfortable. Had a nice bbq in aid of Christchurch earthquake, everyone got together and it was very friendly.
This is the best hostel we stayed in NZ. We stayed in a small cabin with a double bed and a single bed above it. The facilities at the hostel were great! The hot tub was very nice to sit in on a night. The location is out of town however there is a pick up/drop off service which was great. Its only a 2 minute walk to the falls which is probably the best thing to see in Whangarei anyway. The best part of the hostel are the owners, Alison and Graham, they made us feel very welcome!
This hostel is okay. Its just the same as all the other Base hostels, good location, pretty fun but pretty basic. This hostel was not good nor bad, it was just alright.
This is an alright hostel, the only problem being that it is quite far from town. It says it is only a short walk but its longer than it looks. Besdies this it has all the facilities that anyone would want from a hostel. The hostel feels quite homely which is nice and the guy that runs it is very helpful and friendly.
