Nice little hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. They arranged us a new room with an extra bed and helped us to get around the province. Breakfast was really small and the hostel missed atmosphere. Location was very good as it is next to the Omnibus station with busses than go around the province and country.

Very nice family-owned guesthouse with a great atmosphere and the best breakfast you will ever have during your travels! The house has a big living room with a huge table and some sofas. You can also hang out in the garden in one of the hammocks or at the terrace at the first floor. Location is good, cause it's right next to the bus station, but the old town and other activities are a bit further (say a 5 minute walk).
I really enjoyed my stay here! The owner is the frienliest guy and he is always there to help you with anything! Bath- and bedrooms are very clean (in the afternoon our beds were made, our clothes were folded and our flipflops were lined up) and the bar has a nice breakfast and bar area. The worst thing I could say is that for breakfast there is little to choose from, but that is not a real complaint. I would definitely stay here again when at Ilha Grande (hoping that will happen someday!)!!
Very clean and safe (there are lockers) hostel at a good/central location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, there is al big living room and a large roof terrace where many people hang out in the evening. The rooms are nice but the smell in the morning is terrible. Overal a very nice hostel, especially considering the price.
Very nice, cosy hostel just outside the city centre. It's and old family house and there is a nice living room with several couches and also a large kitchen. Very large rooms with shared bathrooms. There's is no cleaning in the apartments, so the rooms and especially the bathrooms can be quite dirty. However, the price-quality-ratio is probably the best you can find.
