Charming three level hostel! The ladies and gents who work there are super friendly and easy to meet the other guests in the lobby lounge and kitchen. Very clean, surprisingly spacious beds, curtains afford privacy. A snap to the subway, close walk to the lively Shida & Dongmen markets. City bike rental down the main road, & Yongkang street with heaps of cute shops bakeries and cafes, and the original Din Tai Fung. And love the free bananas! - one of our favs from a one month asia trip
Love the Causeway bay district, street food and great shopping and good coffee (rare in HK) down the road. Reception area is gorgeous with lovely view and swinging seats. In our own room, decor was a cute bright red but the linen smelled a bit weird which was offputting for the 3 nights we were there. One shower and one toilet shared between the whole dorm was also a bit tricky and was a bit grimy/ worn out and needs a new light, but points for the open air balcony, lockers, and bed curtains.
Friendliest staff award! Plagued them with questions every morning on places to go in Bangkok, around Siam square, and visiting Pattaya island and they were super helpful. Remarkably clean bathrooms, strong showers, we were in heaven! Downstairs lounge & outdoors are ambient, watch for mosquitoes. Dorms also very clean and comfortable. Main hostel area is open air so can get a bit humid. Decent hostel breakfast, or cross the road for delicious street food markets! Loved vibrant Siam sq area.
Downtown in grungier authentic Silom, vibrant with street markets, massage parlours and the best cheap eats. Uniquely designed space, like staying in an art gallery with mismatched furniture, beer bottle murals, tropical fish tanks, bookshelves and swinging hammocks. Adorable staff. Cute handdrawn map of BK in our room but air was musty & troubled by mosquitoes in the night - needs a bit of an air out. However, found some bug spray. Good AC & clean linen and we loved the old piano downstairs.
Safe clean hostel. Lovely cosy atmosphere in the lounge and dining area. Helpful staff, respectful sleeping area, nice clean bathrooms with great big downpour shower heads, bring your own thongs. Enjoyed the toast & spreads w tea/coffee for breakfast. Couple minutes walk to Clarke quay station, at the base of the escalator is the best little chicken rice / congee shop, you'll know it by the crowds. Otherwise head down to chinatown for cheap eats, Maxwell hawker centre and Hong Lim food centre.
great hostel, clean, friendly and helpful reception, luggage room was useful, dorm mates were very friendly, great breakfast, great location
